Tommorrow i might have a look at M5. Maybe the fast MACD is not needed im not sure

Hi Jiva34,

Thanks so much for this really nice trading system. I think it's a winner.

I just want to say that sometimes the 5,10,5 doesn't show divergence, but the 12,24,9 does.

I'm going to attempt to post a chart that shows this. It's on Eur/Jpy M5.

Notice the long run down following the divergence. Very nice!

Hi, glad you're getting something out of this.
I'm sure it is a winner.
There may be other strategies that can be developed using zerolag divergences.
I personally want to concentrate on just the one set up. Get it so ingrained in my brain that I can recognize the set up with my eyes closed???
anyway I want to get so regulated using this pattern that it's boring.
The same pattern over and over and over again...
No deviation.
then maybe, maybe I could look for modifications..
I do find that finding the divergence on the 5,10,10 and waiting for the cross on the 12,24,9 is very reliable.
I don't worry too much about the divergence on the 12,24,9. Since I'm trading the 1min the fast zerolag is very significant.

looking at your screenshot:
using the strategy that I'm using I would have found the entry.
The purple lines show there is divergence on the 5,10,5 and the entry is where the purple arrow is.
that it is confirmed on the 12,24,9 is frosting on the cake...

I like your trading ethos, as it rings true with mine. Wait for the good trades and keep the losses tight. I will compare my scalps (purely naked PA, extremely short term, 5m & 10sec charts) with your system and report any interesting points.

Quick question. Do you wait for the candle to close with the slow MACD crossed, before opening a position or is it deiscretionary. Doubt it will make much of difference very often at this TF, but could in choppy PA.

Also, I cannot see what your signal was in your quoted post. You opened after the slow cross?

Just trying to understand the details to help make any worthwhile suggestions or findings.

Can anyone add a simple alert to the zerolagmacd line
that can be turned off...so I could get an alert
on the longer crossing?

Audio pop up telling what pair and time ie
zerolagmacd cross up eur usd at x time!!?
