i know some you dont care for the yen crosses but would you say this is a good example of a "test" on the E/J Daily??? we have a wide spread/ low volume closing (well , we have 3 hrs left to close)on the higher end of the candle that has dipped dowm into an area where there was some high volume selling...2) we have resistance from the close of the highest volume candle this month so would a break above this be considered a good trigger? what im not sure about is strength in the background...we have 4 up bars but on low volume and im not sure how far back "background" means so it doesnt really look like theres strenght in the backgroung... im not even thinking of trading such a large TF..just wondering if im getting this VSA down just alittle bit..best regards and any advice is appreciated, TX

I would call it a test. Whilst it doesn't have volume less than the previous two bars (it doesn't have to) the volume is still pretty low in the grand scheme of things. How long is left in the daily bar? Can't imagine it'll change too much at this stage, but don't hold me to that!

There does look to have been some buying step in. Once we are above the trigger line that you've drawn then this is good for a potential long. Having said this, keep in mind that we are in a down trend.

Looks like more of a possible SO (based purely on last 3 days volume). Want an upbar / upday to confirm buying. Volume is "low" but still appears to be highest in last 3 days... An upday back above that trigger and a test from above or a NS into the trigger would be a nice SOS.

Im going to put my answers quicker this time because I cant wait to see the results.

A & B= Selling climax, SOS.

C= I have no idea, but I have a feeling that they are going to say a test.

D= Definetly a test.



The Name of what is happening is accumlation.

What I will look for go long? -> I have already watched the videos so I would not answer it.

LOOK AT THE QUESTIONS THEY ARE DIFFERENT FOR EVERY TEST

Bar A: Potential SC wait for next bar.
Bar B: Potential SC wait for next bar.
Next 3 bars show buying present but not very strong bars effort vs. result wise all fairly small to average spread. 2nd of these bars is NS/no selling pressure with the next bar up showing increase in volume but not much result. I'd be kindve neutral here.

Bar C: Downbar closing near low small decrease in volume... wait for more

Next bar after C shows buying present in Bar C ->SoS.
Next bar down substantial decrease in volume closing off low ->SoS.
Next bar up increase in volume ->SoS.

Still not much for me to get excited about personally.

Next bar down shows even more dryup in volume as we print a downbar. More Strength... Valid NS.

Next 2 bars up on increase in volume... strength.

Next bar closing almost on high with a slight decrease in volume, next bar down showing selling in that volume. Next bar down closing on high with next bar up against with increase in volume more strength?

Next bar down looks like no selling pressure. Next bar down in almost double the volume next bar slightly up but closing far off highs with increase in volume... WEAKNESS

Bar D down but closing on high but decrease in volume. Next bar up shows decrease in volume but close on high no buying pressure.

Most of the background shows strength so I would pick up. Bar D and bar after closed on high.

Accumulation....

I want to see a upward push with a few down bars resulting in a test or nice NS.

Long uj again for a hopeful test and break of 82.20 There was strength today and for the last week a base has been put in place. The daily has a nice pin as well with the chart showing the rest.

here is how to enter on a 15 min if you are looking for a sell entry. the bar marked at the crosshairs and the two either side are an evening start formatio , note how the volume is low in the middle bar , aka no demand.... enter 3 pips under the low of that , stop 3 pips above , your risk is about 30 pip for 150 plus reward
