There is no such thing as a broker whose customer base creates enough liquidity internally to match all customer market demands.

I would just look at MBT, I've had no issues with them at all and if you do use Limit orders, the payment for order flow is quite appealing.

MB Trading is a good broker, bast their hard regulation is no for me...

They are much bigger then you think they are...you probably are taking their pricing via your broker right now... They are in the top 3 of biggest FX banks that are doing the most volume. Their pricing is one of the best Ive ever seen...however its not worth it to only take pricing from them...you need some others in the mix as well.

True enough. I already told the guy that if I'm going to open an account I would want to have the same 'demo feed' I am using to compare feeds. He didn't seem to have a problem with this request... But actions speak louder than words.

Thanks for the input flash!

It seems Cantor a good CNX option. Do Cantor offer segregated account?

1. If you are with a pure ecn broker he will charge commission , there is no concept called no commission in forex ecn broker so if somebody says he is giving with no commission then he is not transperent

2. STP with no commission :- some brokers are saying in their ads that they are pure stp and charge no commission, the truth is they mark up the commission in the spread that they offer to you in other words it is in built in the spread

3. what is the commission brokers charge in a ecn :- normally i have seen they charge 3.5 usd for a one side per 1 std lot , however they get it at 1.50 usd per 1 std lot so they end up making 2 usd as margin in 1 std lot that their profit . the avg spread in eusd in ecn is approx .07 .

4. So if your broker is saying true ecn and he is offering you spreads like .07 and saying that the commission is around 2 -2.5 usd per std lot then it is a deal for u

I know all these facts as i have seen the other side of the forex business, both from the client side and from the provider side.

Another thought is all these broker slippages etc will go away if 3-4 traders join hands and pool in 5k usd then they can have their own private brokerage.

hi Unimak,

could you elaborate on this a bit more ? do you mean you get a better service from ECN if your balance is over 5k ? or the ecn broker treats you better if you are in a pool with 3-4 others ?

thanks

LCG doesnt belong to JPM...LCG uses JP as a prime broker and that doesnt mean they only show liq from JPM, JPM is only used to clear the trades and set the creditlines to the other banks for LCG to get theirs (other banks) liquidity in.

As far as I know LCG is getting liq in from 13 or 16 banks.

It makes it obsolete, if it is really obsolete - not because you think its obsolete in your opinion...we both dont know if the statement is really obsolete...unless you have more recent first hand info about it - then i have to agree with you... But its fair to assume only more banks are getting added rather then removed...

I don't look for your agreement i just want that you or any other reader on this forum is not accepting blindly any info posted here, do your own research.

Also in an unregulated market where the loyalty of any participant lies within their liq provider you should and must be suspicious , also as far as i know cnx wont be able to offer their service in the US anymore.

Time will tell, if we are both a perfect example or not.
Two reputable brokers one in the US and one in the UK(partially) stopped already offering their service , but you are right that could also be due to totally other reasons not connected to CNX at all.

I for myself stopped doing business with them and personally know 2 other traders who may considering doing the same .

To straighten things out:

I received additional info that a ECP will still be able to receive services from CNX in the US and that broker in the US ,mentioned by me in the post above, is still offering CNX to ECP .

Anyway my info seems to be inaccurate and i have not atm the possibility to do the research and be sure.

So please disregard any info regarding CNX and their ability to offer their service in the US

Thanks and sorry for the confusion
