I live trade on IBFX, but I've been demo trading shadowing most of my trades and trying out new things (scalping) on FXGame for about two-three months now. It is a horrible platform, IMO I am literally only there because I find the five second charts novel, I am very impressed with the variable lot size, but I don't really require it. I also don't like the lack of an ability to close partial lots.

So long story short, is FXGame comparable to FXTrade? Because FXGame has been having technical issues for weeks. Customer support tells me there are no problems with FXTrade, but as I do not have an FXTrade account, I can't know for sure.

Just on the FXGame side I have been disconnected 27 times today, and I especially notice the DCs as soon as there is a big move on a currency pair such as EURUSD, and especially Cable.

But today REALLY takes the cake, I want to know if I was seeing an actual obvious feed manipulation by Oanda. As the Euro was dropping like a brick around 5:33-5:34 PST. I got in on IBFX and watched my feed on Oanda literally not move for an entire minute, about 25 pips worth of movement. Then it DCed.

Did this same thing happen to anyone using FXTrade? Or anything similar? Anyone having problems with FXTrade? Thanks.
Thank you Lux!

The last disconnect I had on Trade was over a month ago. It's been rock solid and holding steady despite the volatility this week has brought.

Keep in mind demo platforms are there for beta testing new features.

As for today, I had one disconnect on Game- I keep both platforms open.

I've always had pretty good luck with FXtrade, and I like the service better than my other two brokers. I have FXgame but I barely use it, I use metatrader for most of my experimenting.

Open opposite transaction and oanda will close that amount for you (no hedging is possible on their platform).
