Although it's bullish and all commodities have bottom'd out itseems..have a look at this chart wormie, sure you would have noticed trendline coming from top..

i heard about using TLs as targets ie , for exits rather than entries - that tl was the reason for my tp 16303

Hi ams

Hey some close no? Good thing I took my sells out earlier & made 800 bucks instead of 70! lol

Anyway yea I saw the trendline & truth being told I wasn't prepared to take any trade with only NY active on a Friday & I probably wouldn't have, had I been away from the screen! But, since I was around & saw price climbing past 280 & triggered the inside bar to bullish reversal, I took it.
650 pips drop in a straight line, you gotta retrace sometime & this looks like a fitting setup for one.
I'll be looking to readjust my stop below the master candle @6095 on Monday when the market re opens.
We'll see how this goes. Hopefully, I get paid

closed it @ 1.0630 - bounce off S1 trendline on hourly chart and stoch crossed up. Banked 49 pips...

Today would have been a good day to load up on short cable due to rejection from WP... you can't win them all unfortunately!

i think the inside bar setup is not valid anymore since it fail to clean break wednesday high...


still hold my short... target 16010 & 15910 (finger cross)...

last movement to south fail at 16166 which is s1 for friday daily..

just my 2 cent... correct me if im wrong..

the result of this dailly is perfect for the weekly, weekly trendline was in the way that is why it fell..sunday new weekly is outside the descending trendline and it will have one direction up..

with a bit of luck!!

yup thats what im looking at..1.67 will at the very least be tested again..even if monthly is bearish..question have we seen the end of the dip

Clean breakout is never a criteria to trade the inside bar setup. All that is neede for it to be valid is to break the container bar (master candle) high for reversal, or break the container bar low for continuation.
In this case, the break was to the upside of the container bar high yesterday. That is a buy trigger & the only way that can be invalidated is if price closes below the container bar low.

Here's another valid setup where it "failed to have a clean break" like you said.

do you mean that next week it will go up? and test MP?

but...

i hav calculate...

next week WP is 16210 and ws1 is 16390. that mean it just outside the WP..

the reason i still believe that this pair is still going down is:
first, this pair fail to break at 16303 two times, maybe it a sign of double top?

secondly, when it break the inside bar setup in daily tf, it did not go up as usual, it need to close above the wednesday high to confirm it.

please correct me if im wrong....

seems that the captain already been headed with gun by the bull... really scary me tough..

just wondering, there is a case where it reverse what you said..
if you look at last last monday to wed (9-12 may 2011), the inside bar setup is not valid...

still confuse... pls guide...

failed to break as its the 3rd touch of trendline..do a weekly chart and post it then i will do mine..lets see what we come up with
