"Two Percent A Day" emphasize money management and style over trading tools. The market can only go up or down (or sideways). Don't make it complicated simply because it's possible to have a battery of 30 different technical indicators. With a simple trading plan errors are more easily seen and analyzed and adjustments can be made to a simple plan much more easily than to a complex one.

Forex trading is great fun. It can also be very profitable. But the reality is, it is not for everyone. There may be many reasons traders fail to Forex. Some could be common and correctible.

Sadly, we cannot all be winners. There are no specific statistics on Forex trading due to the fact there is no centralized clearing or recording mechanism. The most part of literature uses data from commodity futures and estimate that 90 percent lose and 10 percent win. Not very democratic, but certainly a benefit for the 10 percent winners.
