thank you for your input regarding the question i posted ..if the volume had been low i believe you are correct..but in this case it was high and i read in the mtm book about SM using news to scare weak holders..was just wondering if this was a good example..thanks again tx

The subject of stops and target prices are not usually touched because both are very personal.

First chart is GU one hour. The blue box is supply, this means there are more sellers than buyers at this level. I like to wait for VSA/PA confirmation before I enter because I'm a conservative trader.

Next chart is GU 30m, highlighted is buying climax which shows that there really is a stack of sell orders at supply. Entry is a no deman-ish bar following an engulfing bar

Oh about stop placement and targets, as mentioned previously

To me they are not personal haha.. (lol really HG??)

My stop is above that supply level (its a red dash dot line, entry is green dash dot)

I don't have a target right now, I'll move my stop down as supply progresses (if it does)

USD rates can't stay at zero forever, Snp is testing a monthly supply level, speculative position for sure but risk free all the same. I'll build more in this direction, one risk free entry at a time.

By risk free I mean if you close half at 1:1 then your stop is basically break even but out of the way

Notice how if I had moved my stop to break even I would have been taken out

You are dead on right in my eyes. The high volume bar noted by traderx was buying, traders tried to drop price into the previous area of strength (test on lower timeframes) and were immediately bid back higher. Asia could try to take stops at 82.00. I am still long from the 80's and will look to add on a dip.

Hey Frankkn . . . Have you used Tradesessions to study GBP/USD? I'm noticing that after Tokyo, about half the time, there is a clear VSA signal.

Be i am no wickoff or visa trader but here is a simple chart showing the fib retracements and the trigger lines i used on the way down

1.4280 , 1.4380 , 1.4490 target ....most likely max is 1.4350 to 4380 , reason is that with es springing to 1340 today eu barely moved. I still think weakness is there , even though for now the charts do show a little strength in the 1,4220 area

Very interesting es 4hr .. lowest volume on an up day since 1353.... that gave a 40 point move down

lol .... 1400 hell lets make it 1600

Here is the monthly ... and the 1330 level noted .. VERY critical level and so far any breakouts seems limited.

I would have thought that if they really wanted this higher they would have done a mark up type day by now in to 1370 , a 30 pointer in one day

Instead all I have seen is selling at 1350 area.

Lets watch that 1329 area carefully .. it is my trigger line on a daily basis right now

i am not ignoring the fact that we have had much buying on the dips but fact is for now or until we see some form of test on a weekly we are also seeing much overhead supply in the 1350 area

the more I watch the asia pa the less bullish I become on eu ... nice little breakout move to 1.4300 there.

My bet existing home sales misses tomorrow and markets drop into es 1319, taking eu with it..... just a hunch . I will wait for a proper VSA confirmation in the charts tomorrow. 10 am est will be critical news time. One of those two news item will miss. ES will kiss 1343 giving a great sell opp off the open range high

lol ... now I can hear the question in your head .. what the hell is he talking about open range ?

I've made money three times on USD/CHF the last 4 weeks. (I posted one :-)

But now I'm wondering how to read the current chart. What would anyone else do with this? Is this two=bar reversal?

You can see the OBVIOUS trade I took and made 60 pips on.

well said or the trader can pay me $500 per month and i will gladly send them all key levels each day lol

If the trader had bothered reading this thread they would already know them.... i hope this is not getting to become one of those threads where the free loaders just want to make money and have no interest in learning

Concerning my previous post . . . .

Does anyone else see USD strength or weakness?

The USD/CHF chart shows that the PA has come back down to an important level. 8800 has been first resistance, then support through the month of May. It's now broken below . .. but not by much.

Is the CHF an important enough currency that we should be paying attention to this?
