Oh no, I'm wasn't offended. Your statement? I think that's great! You're hitting the nail on the heat, that nobody has given a comment,..., that blows my mind. You are the first who has distinguish the difference. I think like you,..., it's a "Trading Discussion Thread", no funeral, and nobody gives any comments here. That's really crazy. Everybody could give his experience at this thread about strategy & tactics,..., may be there's more to come,...right?

Short @ 1.4220

Strategy & Tactics?

DR1 is at 1.4254. This could be a better point with even higher probability for some enter shorts. You could switch throught the different time frames (M5, M15, H1, H4) to make up your mind. I go now in at 1.4220. Why? Is it tactic! How come? My actual tactical consideration is that I go on with a small lot size. If I would go in with a 0.05 lot normally I split it in 5 x 0.01 lot quantities and why here in Europe the London Market is closen (actual 21.38GMT +1) it could be that the volatility isn't much powerful that DR1 could be reached till night, ...but I don't know!, ...so I go in with only 1 x 0.01 lot sizes and the next short would be triggered at DR1 1.4254 with 0.01 lot again.
May be if I would trade only the strategy, if so I have to wait till the price would go further downside the mR1 or upside to DR1 if "CCI(14) Top & Bottom Trading in conjunction with the pivotal points" could be the strategy. There are also other tactical reflections which could be focus.

Be aware: H4 and Daily are given upwards signals. Could be that this trade has to be hedged (also a tactical behavior about MM and RM). We'll see!

That's right, it can be good to write down your analysis (in this case post them) to help you see what is going on better. Kind of like teaching. When you teach you understand and retain information better. It can't hurt to do that here whether people reply or not. When people start replying you will also get some feedback on how others view it. Maybe you can learn a trick or two that way also. At the same time reading other peoples comments can also be distracting or misinformative so you can't take everyones opinion too serious. Honestly, I find the best threads on this site are the ones that talk strategy or about market facts. The ones that have people making predictions on where price is going to go and how much they are going to make per day I try to stay away from. I think most people realize that 2% a day is unrealistic, so that's why you haven't gotten a response. Still it is a bit surprising to not see one person at least refute your claim.

When I get home later I will post more here. Only for discussion though, not about trying to reach a daily percentage. Right now I have to go.

Thank you for your remarks "2+2=4ex". Time will tell us if "strategy & tactic" could prospective a 2% daily ratio. If I read the FF comments I get the impression that many traders are following this or that strategy rule by rule, which could be a misusage by following solely the hard strategy rules. That could be a reason why a possibly 2% daily win can't be achieved. "Strategy + Tactic + MM + (Trader)Personality +..." could be more profitable. That was my idea to give this topic the name "Two Percent A Day?". I trade over 10 years now. May be I don't understand basical problems anymore. I don't know!

May be we could see the 1.4502 just as well (middle line of Bollinger Band).

Could be better to hedge all my EU positions and exercise patience.

Prices are struggling around the Daily 23.6 Fib Level (1.4260).

Next possible price stations: 1.4385 (38.2), 1.4490 (50) and 1.46 (61.8) [approximate values]

Market seems for me absolutely unclear. Prices could go up or down, therefore I pick out the Hedging Tactic.

great strategy

many mindset of trader now is: "rich in one day, or even one hour or less".
sometimes they didn't think that "high risk high return".

profit must be consistently. little by little will become higher. in the next 6 months we will see the result for being consistently in making profit.

i do the same strategy now, every loss i made and every margin call i made (i think i already had more than 6 margin call ) make me more understand this market.

if you consistent in 2%/day. you will get 47,708.5 USD in 72th day. CMIIW.

no one replies because this is more like a journal, and not a discussion. i think this thread is better-suited to the journal thread and perhaps you should ask for it to be moved there.

See here, please #3. This formula I would prefere.

It would have 1'000.-CHF after the fourth month, not 47'708.50 USD.

"Mapping the Trade" try to visualize ideal outcome, and visualize alternative outcomes and especially the worst case scenario. Started with a 250.- CHF real account should be reflected with a practical orientation a variety of topics such as "money management parameters", "tactics & filters", "order managemet" or look for the four eyeball characteristics: "directional movement", "volatility", rhythm" and "thickness" and other market environment characteristics.

Open Order Management

I try to set a solid foundation for managing the open orders when setting no stop loss by illustrating how it operated.

Task: Unwind and make a profit on balance.

Open Order Management

Parameter: 1:10 (Daily Win:Open Orders)

If I make 10.- CHF a Day I could have open orders about -100.-CHF, ten times as much.

Yesterday I have make 20.-$ a Day so I could have had run abstract about -200.-CHF open orders in the minus.

I call this style of invest the rhythm or the thickness of my account. My account should be breathe in the rhythm of the market, so in the rhythm of my daily wins.

A distinction is made between Daily Profit and "Open Order Management" since the trades are doing without stop loss most of the year.

All the rest should be money management.
