eu should have dropped on es drop but it did not ...

4 hour is looking more like accumulation. I would not be surprised to see 1.44 tomorrow.

but to be honest I cannot see clearly , so staying out eu for now

yess - I watch H4 and try to take my entrys at M15. Master sonic advice ...

but it is possible we see more lows - how knows that - let the market decide ... bad timing for me master malcolmb14

Yes EU is not overly clear to me either. Earlier today it was looking like major weakness coming in for a big drop but with a strong close towards the high today and the whole picture changes quite a bit...
Today's zone = Tomorrow's opportunity!

EU short? Where are you short from? If you got in around 4200ish per Malc's call you should have cut out long before now.

4 hour yes and on a 15 min time frame its clearly evident. The news is non stop eur bearish right now so a fresh clean out of weak shorts could be in play during the next 24 hours.

up-day with a higher than usual volume; but without a higher high yet. i have a hunch it will go higher than yesterday, most likely to 4280/4309 area... and drop from there.

There was clear buying down at the low 1.41's, but I see it more as support to prevent a premature fall. Check the H1 TL and how well it's held - we may be in a breakout, or maybe not. The lows buying is OK IMHO, but not spectacular, and the supply/sellers at the top are quite persistent.

We're wedged in here and potentially broken out, but it could be (another) fakey; a test down to 1.418ish and IMO POC 1.416 and open of 4154 is still highly likely. Plus, that M15 20 pip wicker is often a sign, although not guaranteed. Given the time of day, I expect that bar and run-up to be looked at with suspicion by Asia and at least Frankfurt. 1.425 should still offer resistance.

To me, the 1.4046 low represents unfinished business; if there are buyers they are just a smidge below 1.4 and I think will need to be picked up. Problem is, we are at 3pm NY afternoon, and volume reads and movement is little and largely irrelevant. DX has had a good run for days now, and no doubt helped the EU cause ... if it reverses - and that possibility is there - everything could change. If the daily closes around here and above 1.42, things seem a little suspect to me, but a 50 pip dip down/test would be quite normal.

I closely follow ES and other indexes, and they looked like they were going to leg down further, but the catalyst does not seem to be there yet - they are indeed controlling them. When the news happens, everything will dump down IMO, including commodities. Not sure what that will be ... the Orwellian Eurozone club was meeting today, and is basically talking Greek default - but much like their encyclopedia of other lies, it's not being called a default - question now is, how will big traders react, but more importantly what are the impacts and to which banks. (plus, the DX & commodity factors I mentioned) A brief FT.com article on that here. In case you're looking for a decent summary of where commodities are at, give Marco at the LFB 8 minutes of your time.

Definitely a sidelines day with the eu, and this move is also very suspect. I'd expect a pullback into this little range, but I'm admittedly pretty clueless right now.
