that's no good dongsky. over 500 pips down is hardcore... at least to me it is. maybe in your framework it's not as bad as it sounds.

unfortunately, scorpions have nothing to do with getting hit with a massive loss. ignoring the game of russian roulette is the 'scorpion'. the facts is a lot of people are choosing to ignore that every potential loss that you average down (or 'rescue') and don't take the loss on is effectively being banked into an imaginary loss fund which grows over time as you refuse to take losses, and the day eventually comes that you will be forced to cash the banked losses all in one go. you either take the small losses one after another, or you cop them all in one go.

grain of salt though. i'll admit i'm anti-fti. it's one thing to have seemingly unlimited funds and average down and up and every which way you want, and it's another thing to be a retail trader with a very specific amount of funds available which need to be applied correctly. "ants work" doesn't cut it for me as a retail trader.

this is either a learning opportunity, or a wake-up call. guys like you and mamood worry me, seriously.

appreciate it and i cannot agree more... everyday is a learning opportunity to me my friend... and guys like you make me humble...

again, lesson learned and i have to say next... wake-up call... but of course, everytime i realise and admit i'm wrong... it's nice to have a wake-up call...

thanks for your worry... but i am more relax trading now a days... and hey... my foreign capital gain for the week is still up... although down by 38% as of today... but it's only this week's gain

bottom line my friend... i'm still surviving and making a living now...

that's true... and thanks...

losses are... but part of our battle... my loss today was just almost my gains yesterday but hey, little did they know i'm up by few hundred pips more

fti's strategy? methodology is more appropriate for his teachings...

so far it works for me... it fits on my personality per se... but it doesn't mean it will work for everybody... first requirement to be good at this method is... proper mindset and solid balls hehehhee...

yep, that's the first rule i learned from him, rule # 1... protect book... and as of rule #2... protect book... and rule #3... don't forget rule #1...

so early day of the week... i trade defensive... until a foreign capital builds up... then on the busy days of week... can trade aggressive a little bit...

of course it does bite hard... loosing 1 pips is the same.

Hang in there. A bit of a bad start to the trading day but you are doing ok. As long as you are using foreign capital you should be right.
