I apoligize for my lazyness on re-reading half the thread, could someone briefly tell me or decipher SOS & SOW for me? I know its something sell off. Things have changed alittle since I last followed along here.

I trade 2 lots on all my trades and I go for 1:1 on the first lot and then would move to BE (depending on size of original SL) on the second lot and let it ride. So yes you are risking say 60 pips to possibly only make 30 or even -60. But you could also make 30 on lot 1 and decide to close lot 2 at 30 also for 60 gained off 60 risked. You could also make 30 pips on lot 1 and say 60 pips on lot 2 for 90 pips gained off 60 pips risked.

Aiming for 2:1 right off the bat and trading 2 lots is very risky as a normal SL is say around 25 pips and now...

Very interesting vols in ESZ, SLV. Silver ETF's. Looks like mega distribution going on in silver. We're hitting cycle highs within the next week.

i'm sure someone already mentioned this - wednesday we had a bullish daily candle with a much-higher-than-average volume, closing on high. price made a higher high after that, but then went sideways; i'd say support is tested right now, and may go as low as 1.4629 (but most likely to 1.4665 area) without a change in bias...
target 1.5005 still valid.

The chart below is a monthly chart. I picked this chart simply because I was looking at a VSA posters chart in another thread (Frankkn). Looks pretty good. Something to think about and play around with. This should put an end to all the volume questions in this thread (yeah right LOL).

Looking at your Monthly charts does looks like it wants to make a test on the 1.56 ~ 58 area.

what is true range? it doesnt sound like you are talking about ATR so i guess its something else. googling true range isnt working as all I get is ATR

T.R. is the difference between the previous bar close and the high of the next up bar ,or the close of the prevous bar and the low of the next down bar gap included if you trade futures or stocks.The DELTA (difference) is called true range. ATR(x) is the average of the true ranges of x bars.

I used True Range as a volume proxy a long time ago but had forgotten about it. One of the Wyckoff experts showed his Point & Figure charts with True Range since you can't use real volume on a P&F chart in Trade Station.

As P&F charting takes hold with the VSAers (Tom has been a long time proponent of them), this will become more the norm.

I have no idea, nor do I care, where price is going. What I do care about is that price is back into the Supply/Demand Delta Zone (AKA Entry Signal Zone). This is the best place to look for entry signals whatever the methodology may be, and those signals could be either long or short.

Ok even though im not trading today i have to post something thats bugging me.

Does anyone else think this 'osama captured' as a little suspect?

It happens on a day where most of europe is not trading, possibly allowing for a select few to capatialize.
Lets also face it the US economt is clearly in the crapper, could this be used to attract buyers and act as a catalyst for further upward progress through the resistance we have on monthly charts?

We have seen no evidence e.g. photos etc and they have buried him at sea straight away, does this strike anyone as odd?

whilst i dont do alot of crazy theorys this doesnt sit right with me! and id like to see the reaction of the markets over the coming days.

BTW. Look what happened on may 6? its just so happens it was on a uk election day and greece bailout (althought we wont see a may 6 style bar). it cant all be a coinsidence.

There is a great tool in MT4, Gann line.
It is like leading indicator. It`s free money, when spotting VSA-signals in right area.

It's because they mark s/r areas like other trendline tools. They help to determine overbought and oversold areas.

Yes, and another thing, ...with trendlines, you need 2 points, this only need one.
