EU short taken. Target 1 off. Little more and stops go to BE.

Reading "Atlas Shrugged" while waiting for the demand area to clear.

Also picture of the stairs I worked on today. Owner wanted to change the old stairs that came straight down to curved to the side. Kind of a neat project.

Remember the stepladder analogy..your becoming very proficient in it's application. How's work going? Having one of our houses remodeled around this end..., looking so good im thinking of moving in lol! You can always tell a pro carpenter from a jack of all trades one (me), he's tore out my work and done 10 x the work that took me 4 months (on and off) in about 3.5 weeks haha...

Closed out the last of it. Price came within 10 pips of my final target. With FF on the horizon I thought I would take what I had and walk away.

Work has been interesting. Doing all kinds of things now. It used to be that all I did was trim and cabinets. Now it is everything. One thing nice for me having grown up with a hammer in my hand. Drove my first nail when I was about 8 years old helping my Dad. 40 years ago. So there is not much I haven't done. So it has proven to be handy with the slow down we are seeing.

My goal with the Forex is to be as proficient with it as I am with construction...It's getting there. Still make the occasional stupid move or completly miss a sign. But it is all part of getting the mastery of it.

I figured I would sit in one today..First of all to see if I fit. 6' 6" for our metric friends. 1.981 m.

I can barely fit. It would be a nice ride.....Maybe pick one up with my first million from Forex.

I will look at some Challengers next.

Please accept my apology in advance for the following email about an unpleasant subject.. I tried very hard not to do it, but because it helped my perspective and made me feel much better; I thought perhaps it would do as much for you. It's tough, but we all need to do our part.

The President ordered the cabinet to cut a whopping $100 million from the $3.5 trillion federal budget.

I'm so impressed by this sacrifice that I have decided to do the same thing with my personal budget. I spend about $4,000 a month on groceries, medicine, bills, etc. etc, and now it's time to get out my budget cutting axe, go line by line through my expenses, and get to work.

I'm going to cut my spending at exactly the same ratio as the President - 1/35,000 of my total budget. After doing the math, it looks like instead of spending $4,000 a month; I'm going to have to cut that number downward by eleven cents!

Yes, I know that’s a lot and I must somehow get by with $3,999.89, but that is what sacrifice is all about. The President has requested that we get some of our own “skin in the game” with everyone else. So we'll just have to do without some things, that are, quite frankly, luxuries those eleven cents normally buy us.

Guess I'll have to put a little less Vermouth in my Manhattan or give up lemon in my gin and tonic!!!!! Tough decision

Hope this helps brighten your day ... and gives you a little better understanding of just how serious our President is.

To understand the U.S. federal budget, divide by 100,000,000

Philip Greenspun divided the U.S. 2011 federal budget by 100,000,000 and wrote a little parable:

"We have a family that is spending $38,200 per year. The family's income is $21,700 per year. The family adds $16,500 in credit card debt every year in order to pay its bills. After a long and difficult debate among family members, keeping in mind that it was not going to be possible to borrow $16,500 every year forever, the parents and children agreed that a $380/year premium cable subscription could be terminated. So now the family will have to borrow only $16,120 per year."

I hate trading bank holidays especially in Japan....So I am done for the day...Will kick back and enjoy a beer while watching the charts of course.

What is your perspective on the reasoning for this? I think it may be the Governments way of trying to

A. Make U.S. exports more attractive which will in turn encourage companies to hire more employees.

B. Decrease the value of our currency thus decreasing the value of our debt.

C. Encourage lending (The legitimate "Cover")

Any of this make sense?

I don't know for sure of course...But Joe public is generally aware of two or three things.
1. Price of Oil Right now high partially from USD tanking
2. Groceries going up dollar is buying less

But these Joe public will not attribute to the falling dollar

3.... Stock market climbing..So this gives the appearance that things are good? Is it climbing because of the falling dollar? I think so.

So this encourages business to expand/ borrow and hire employees. Shoot IBM announced a dividend increase and a stock buyback. This in the worst economic slowdown since the Depression. Incidentally the worst years for the depression was not 1929. It was in the early 30"s I think 1932. I kind of think that this recent climb is built on a house of cards... I hope not, until I can make a living with the Forex I need construction spending.

I think most Americans are clueless when it comes to the true value of a dollar.

So now what .....I think I will have another beer Support Milwaukee

How many times do you hear about the "Bastard Oil Companies" charging so much for their oil? I hear it about every day...But oil is bought and sold on the open market...So how about the Bastard government that is killing the dollar? making the USD buy less oil. They (The government) is basically out of the picture in the public's eye on this matter.

The continued rally in equities is a bit of a mystery, legitimate or not the influx of capital into businesses has to be a good thing, hopefully it's enough to create a sustainable recovery. I hope it's not budweiser, they sold out a while back .

The best tasting beer i've ever had the honor of consuming is produced right here in Pennsylvania named Lionshead, you'd be doing yourself a favor in ordering a case...or 3
