take a look at the first red volume bar bro. right before my entry.
that sticks out the most isn't it? a lot of buyers... was my interpretation of it...

don't know much vsa either bro. but if the candle, sup+res, with high volume, don't think you can go wrong with that. lol.

Thanks mate....need to carry out the preliminary test before using VSA at real account.

Don't waste your time with so many indicators as i said about the trend for today, and you see that all the levels were touched, but now
E/U is ranging between 1.4540 to 1.4588 when 1.4588 will be broken the range will be between 1.46 and 1.4625
Just check my signals with your experience then decide, please,

Hey pk,

That red bar shows excessive vol, so has a lot of buyers behind it. But up bars show selling and weakness.

Really you have to look at the background volume, taking trades purely of 5m is kinda deceiving and can leave you on the wrong side of the market :/

short analyses for geppy from ichimoku point of view. Ichimoku Kinko Hyo is a trend following system. So itīs not the best for geppy at the moment, but it gives good support an resistance area (Put an ichimoku chart on daily eur/usd and you see a trend following system at its best).

I marked support and resistance at the charts. First weekly, where we have seen price broke into the cloud. If it would have broken though the cloud and establish above it, we would have had a nice beginning long trade.

But price dropped back and might be testing the lower part of the cloud first, for support.

On daily we see kijun sen and tenkan sen are very close. Price was hold down from the tenkan sen as resistance. If we would have a nice long bull candle above, this would be a long signal. If price closes daily below the tenkan sen and kijun sen, we have a nice short. I think we already have this sell signal with this nice bear candle from 12.04.2011, which closed below the tenkan sen (red line). Breaking the tenkan sen is the first weak sell signal for ichimoku traders.

I have read here and other forums, that everybody sees the intervention from central banks (BOJ) as a bullish impulse.

I donīt. I show you an impulse from gbp/nzd, which is nearly absorbed by the market. I think we should draw fibo levels the otherway around (bearish).

would you care to explain which up bars? you mean bull bars after that red volume?

how do you look at background volume? i'm really a king of the noob when it comes to vsa. thanks in advance.

Yeah sure mate.

The red bar on the indi, inline with the wider spread up bar(bullish engulf). See how if you look back theres a weak amount of demand on other candles in line with the shadow of that bar? Could be background selling. Like a weak test. Also if you look at when it popped throught the supply zone, it went in with a lower amount of volume than it did coming back down.

Background is just the whole picture. Like are people selling at supposed supply zones on the H4 and D1? or vice versa. Easier said than done though, I'm pretty bad at it aha.

If you look at my graph the bar itself is red, indicating an exhaustion of buying, but its also bounced hard of all the ema's. The bar immediately after it was low spread up bar with a lot less volume (1:05) which usually means it was a fake up and is gona crash back down. The bar after that however is higher volume med spread up bar with what looks like little selling(no wick). Which shows the orders just got bought up. So this isn't gona come back down relatively soon.

I don't trust low volume days, Ģ10 seems to move the markets hahah. I'm only half way through mtm at the moment so can't really give you good advice. I just trawl through everything malc and shamus write hahaa

part of the trading plan when price moves in trend... notice how price behaves in each clusters. didn't really work out to 100% as planned, but close enough with the exits. most trades i had with this 50% was off at 1hr chart highs, not in daily bases, but same principal can be applied to smaller tf except it's going to be whippy compared to daily chart. should have been a bit more patient with this one.

np forexia, the chart you are looking at is daily bases.
each cluster was just about 200 pips in average, so we are still talking about decent amount of pips.
as long as it's not a rapid move up like the recent rally, i felt very comfortable.
