Can you help me understand what the AMA optimized final slope measures and indicates? What does it do? Thanks!

I really do not understand what the indicator measures. I have tried looking for an explanation but have stopped trying. I have just watched it enough to feel comfortable with it... probably not what you want to hear, but.... its the truth.

AMAopt Slope indicator showing divergence with semafor high. I am going to guess that price will run to the pivot just because it is close and then try to test the lows made earlier....

So price is about 10 pips past the pivot (to be expected) now just be patient and let the market tell us if this is going to be a failure point or the start of a new push up.... I'm leaning towards failure, but never make firm commitments to lady fx
I ,m really confidence your idyllictrading system, as i tryout on my demo account got wining every week, and i ,m intrested to practice more this system using my forex tester to expertise the system well, could you please sent me this file convert into dpr dll. for my input in my forex tester platform..
I used semafor with another trend indicator last week and found very good. Later i noticed this thread and i loaded the following indi's in the chart:
1) Semafor
2) AMA slope indicator
3) Non lag MA with 21 setting.
4) OHLC -HA for candle sticks.
With this the chart looks great.
My idea of trading this system is like this:
1) Wait for semafor to print high/low ( star signal ) in hourly chart Assume it printed high. ( Red star )
2) Go to 5 min chart and look for red circle to appear.
3) wait for candle...

Yeh i wouldnt mind knowing too if its ok. I quite liked the look of the opening post. Just the one indicator and some HA candles.

I like to have a 'clean' chart, longer timeframes and let profits run as long as possible.

The system he was trying to use is the same as mine...same indicator just different names. just read my thread and thats as clean of a chart you will get were you can see what is really going on in the markets. The #4 whatever is just a dressed up ZZ semafor and the ABA is nothing more then a MA in a subwindow..which is also known as STOCH! ..........

thanks, I have started reading your thread. you do give the impression that you know what your doing, although i see some posters disagree with you but thats their problem.
