I am so please to see your reply to my post. I did not address my question to you specificly because I read that you do have some medical issues and I don't want to bother you too much! I do hope you are better now.

While I was waiting for reply, I did find out by using a higher time frame I can go back quite a few years with my chart.

I have been demoing with lower time frame-5m,15m and 1hr. My result was quite good, something like 60% win/loss ratio. The problem is the winners are small but the loosers are very big, something like 10 times!!

I started to trade with higher time frame like daily for the last two days. The above mentioned problem seemed to have resolved. Time will tell!!

For those using the 15 min TF for the 5method, what is the criteria used when placing a SL?

Placing that SL is always such a personal prefference...
I like to use the last high or low in the swing.
TP is when the TDI hooks, goes flat or the 5 EMA is touched...kind of a judgment thing. (GREED METER)
If you've enetered correctly, then your rewarded. If not, then your out with minimal damage and ready for the next setup.
I must admit, though, that I am being drawn into the higher TF with Big E's steady coaching. Same rule seems to work there as well.
I move SL tight or BE as soon as profit begins to build.

My biggest hit ever in forex!!!

Last night before I went to work I bought 3 contracts.
The eurusd, gbpusd, audusd. On the four hour chart they
just look liked the dollar was collapsing and I thought what the
hell I'll buy all three (long).

When I came home this morning from work I was up $250.00
(all 3 contracts). This is my biggest hit so far. We must be
doing something right cause I never made $250.00 before in a
day trading forex on the 1, 5 and 15 minute charts.

The tdi seems to be perfect on the 4 hour charts.

I would also love to hear a few other opinions on what SL to use on the 4HR - a general googling of the subject seemed to suggest anywhere between 60 -100 pip SL on the 4HR charts. I might go with 80.

Also what risk per trade, I'm thinking about 2.5% sounds right.

I'm up about 400 pips so far this week.

Mine has crossed now. New 4 hour candle. It is too late now to enter. Just taken GBP/JPY Short. My settings are the same. Trading live.
