Hi traders.
I created this Excel when on Friday evening(April 15th), I thought I bought EURJPY price (on FX Primus) at 120.082
On the broker server it gave me a buy price of 120.21x
Its around 11-13 pips off. This is my first time seeing this on my new broker.
Shocked, I went to http://messenger.providesupport.com/.../fxprimus.html
to rectify the problem!
Am a short term trader. Luckily this problem happened in a consolidated period, otherwise I'd be a sitting duck to be roasted.
Attached is a Margin Call (Excel 2003) spreadsheet.
To mathematicians & veteran traders, I need all the help to solve the equation to auto-calculate the pips needed to trigger margin call %
I know different brokers have different Margin Call policies.
Should my earlier formulas be wrong, pls do not hesitate to alert me. Thank you & enjoy my Excel format.
Or if there was any advanced spreadsheet that is better than mine, pls do point me to the URL link.
Thank you.
