FF Trade Explorers feature

What does everyone think of the new Trade Explorers feature? I like the fact that it uses your investor password instead of the MT4 publisher, but I think the myfxbook graphs are much prettier. Thoughts?

And what's the difference between MT4's investor password and MT4 publisher? does myfxbook use the MT4 publisher? What I know is the results in myfxbook may not be accurate. people can cheat on the results showed in myfxbook. you can easily find some people made more than 1million% profits in a very short period. lol.

just beware that the results attached to members accounts may not be theirs.

if I give you investor password to my account, you can upload the results and say you made those trades.

or am I wrong?

I'm not sure how someone and fudge the #'s on myfxbook if

1.) displays the broker and you have heard of that broker

2.) account is verified - history and trading permission.


I've seen some arbitrage results on myfxbook, but its at shady tm4 broker that no ones uses. So thats the difference between REAL and altered results.

I've seen 1 where commercial member shares investor password and I logged in to see that the broker offers 1 pip fixed spreads on ALL pairs and I mean ALL

investor password u can verify the account with your own eyes.

the MT4 publisher can LOAD any results that are in the history. therefore,

lets say you make a ton of money on monday and lost money the previous week, the mt4 publisher can be selective of what it uploads.. so using investor password for verification like myfxbook, it will say 100 of 100 history updated and verified. therefore the user displays ALL history and not just the days he makes $$

just keep in mind that you can use others investor password- like commercial bots that share this info

But, anyway, the most important thing is to find some successful live trade records, and the trading results should be 100% true. no matter who traded it, right?
a successful live trade records will encourage everybody, and give people hope to struggle in this field.

I like what you said, always doubt about everything in this trading field. because there are tons of cheaters in this field. I am always fooled by others again and again and again....Do you know how they cheat in the demo results? how they cheat in myfxbooks? how they cheat in zulutrader?

I really think FF need to start a thread to reveal every kind of cheating methods! that will save us tons of time when we are searching for a good system and avoid to be cheated all the time.

ha, I just use this link http://www.forexfactory.com/sitesear...htype=site&=Go ,given by Goat (thank you), to analysis some ppl's performances. Already find some cheaters. lol. and I figured out how they cheat in FF's trade explorers:
the bugs of trade explorers are:
the trade explorers don't show:
1. when did this trade explorer setup.
2. how many accounts this member showed before. (and how many trade explorers this member had before, and how many hidden trade explorers this momber has.)

To cheat, you just need open 10 demo accounts, setup 10 trade explorers for them, and set it private first. Then, half of them buy a pair, and half of them sell that pair at the same time. After a period of time. close all of them. then 5 accounts will show you a winning trade. (another 5 accounts will show you a lossing trade, just delete these accounts from the trade explorers). and then, do it again and again. Finally, you will get one account with all-win no-loss trading results, you can show amazing results to others now. just set it public, and shut down the updating.

Or you can just do it at home, and only setup a trade explorer for that winning account later.

I already find some cheaters. lol. the characteristics of this kind of account are:
a demo account, very big profits(more than 100% profits) in a very short period, main profits are from small number of trades , stop updating(they can't keep it work for a long time). you can find some of this kind of performances in the above link easily.

So, it's very important to fix the above bugs, using that infomation, you can tell if the results are real or not easily.

for a real result, it should be:
1. the trade explorer setup early. (So, we need to know when this trade explorer setup. )
2. keep updating, and after the trade explorer setup, there is good trading performance.
3. no deleted or hidden trade explorers. (you can check it from the number of trade explorers this member had before.)
4. live account, this is very important.
