hope u make it to 1 million....... if u dont mind could you explain alittle about your system..... i have been trading for about 2 years now and i just am not profitable.. i been going from one system to the next and could you share some knowledge with me

You better demo first until u have made three month profitable first.

I would suggest that you read some established technician's books. I am very fond of Constance Brown's books but there are other fine authors. Shop around and find an author that is a good match for you. Best of luck to you.

I'm back posting after I took a couple weeks off. I also added $500 to this account. So it really is a journey of $750 to a million.

Anyways,

The dollar is set up for a big retracement. I've got a good looking position, no plans to close yet.

Nice week going so far. I've held euro, cable, aussie and kiwi shorts this week. Euro is the superstar short today.

Account balance is closing in on $1400.

I cut my shorts a little too early today but no worries. I just left a few pips on the table for the next trader.

I'm flat now and will stay that way until the employment number is announced.

What a great thread, how did this end up TexasforEX?

I would assume that it ended badly, as all of these "rags today, riches tomorrow threads seem always to do.

I have been visiting internet trading forums and blogs and journals since the old usenet days, and I have not seen one of these "Pennies to Dollars" journals seen through to fruition.

I've thought about doing one myself.

Just for the fun and challenge of it. Heck, I even have a small $2000 futures account that I have kept open for just such a purpose. Once a month my broker emails me a statement showing no activity, and that is about the only time I think of it. Countless times I've thought to myself, "This month I'm going to start a journal at FF and see if I can't run this little account up to something." But I never start though. In spite of the fact that I think maybe I could pull off some sort of run, I've always been afraid that I might let the small account side project distract me and impact my real trading in a negative way.

But here I am, again looking at this poor little orphaned futures account of mine and reading this little, five year old abandoned journal, and darn it all if I'm not once again thinking, "This month, I will start a journal at FF and see if I can't run this little account up into something special." Should I? Would I?

If you have $250 and you make 20% a month it will take you 46 months to make a million dollars so good luck!

The thread starter has already quit this project/dream more than 3 years back.

Then the question would be....will the broker pay you....ha ha. I reckon maybe not.....its a large sum. Still you could try for 250,000....and see if they pay that.....ha ha...choke....cough....burp.
