yes u start looking at around 0700 hrs GMT but u need to keep looking for 1-2 hrs after that as well...also, due to the offset in daily timings, we really should start looking from 0700 hrs gmt and 1-2 hrs from that..

I have reviewed your posts and it has NOTHING to do with vsa perse. If you are going to try and mentor others at least understand what it is your are teaching , as newbies will be going off with the thoughts that they know vsa and in reality it is...

with all due respect, i have posted just 1 chart so far and have made1-2 posts trying to explain what i have in mind....i guess i deserve a few more posts b4 people start commenting on whether what i am saying is right or wrong...

Also, there is no single way to apply/trade any specific thing in this world...just like how u can trade the RSI, MACD etc in various ways, you can also trade VSA in various ways...i am just trying to explain one of those ways...just cos i trade it in a different way doesnt mean that i am wrong!!

3) understand what N is really teaching here ... not much to do with vsa.

Then ask questions

vsa is a way of trading that is very powerful when you understand it and are an expert at it. It is a way to be profitable in market that most fail in . I just do not want newbie traders to be mislead by something that is not vsa .... then when they speak to someone again and say ' oh that does not work I learnt this in ff' they do not miss out on a real opportunity to learn the how to read professional money's footprints in the charts

well Malc, you might be the big boss around here with regard to FF but again, that doesnt mean that yours is the only method of trading vsa....lets have an open mind and if someone comes up with a new way of trading, give him an opportunity to fully explain it and if its good, appreciate it....nobody owns VSA...period...

I just don't understand how you say this is a way of trading VSA when it does not take into account the S from VSA. You are using volume and price direction not volume and spread to analysis LO movements. This is a volume based idea not VSA based.

Well said Karthik, not everyone needs to trade the logical way or how you are told to trade, has anyone thought about why your brokers etc want you to follow correct trading techniques - because you LOSE thats why.

Any variations or left field ideas bring a more valuable tool to the table the way I see it.
Before anyone decides to attack me for 4-5 posts, I have been a trader for over 10 years now and a follower of FF for this time
I trade my own Left Field system which does quite well.

This is another variation of volume trading which may have merit so give him a go

ok, here again...attached is the 15M GU chart covering yesterday and today.....the key here is that we start looking at the chart from 0700 hrs gmt and for the next 2 -3 hrs...watch for sudden price movements and see in which direction , there is an increase in volume...if the price moves down, and volume increases, you can expect a reversal soon...start getting ready for a buy...look for signs for a buy...a pin bar or a sudden down move followed by consolidation etc...just watching for these 2 patterns is enough...

enter with 40 pips SL and look for 30-40 pips as TP...

look at the attached chart and look at point A and point B from yesterday,....you can see how price moved down suddenly at points A and B with increase in volume...both points were good for a long...

after point B, you can see the volume MA going down but price increasing, this means that this upmove is not supported and it will ultimately fall, which did happen after the upmove...

pls note that whatever has been explained so far is only the tip of the iceberg...just by following what has explained, u will have success %age of only 50% which is not of much use....but this is the base where newbies can start..

if u combine this with PA and advanced concepts of VSA, you can choose better trades and can also pin point entries with DD of less than 15 pips....i will explain those as we go along..

as we see the current chart,,, price is coming down with volume MA going up...price is approach a support region as well...maybe good time for a long to look for 20-30 pips....we look for 20-30 pips only cos its early in the session...

i am amazed why people always trade following set patterns based on what is said in books or what other traders teach u...why dont people think out-of-the-box and come up with new ways of trading?

my previous thread was abt Murray Maths which not many seemed to be following at that time...but u can now see how famous the thread became and how many people have started using MM from then on...

well, u still havent allowed me to fully explain what i am trying to explain....i have been just trying to explain the basics....i have posted just 2 charts to explain so far....why dont u give me time to explain the basics and then the advanced concepts b4 u jump to conclusions on whether this is about volume or spread or vsa or whatever....

well well well...we just had an excellent pin point entry...just 2 mins after i finished my previous post about how volume was increasing and price was approaching a support region and it was a good time for long, boom...the price went up 20 pips...

this is an excellent example where all criteria was satisfied...u had increasing volume on the MA...u had a sudden down move...u had big bars on the bettervolume indicator...and very importantly, price came down to a support region around 1.6260...an excellent entry with very low SL of just 15-20 pips...u can exit now with profit of 20 pips or move SL to BE and wait for more...

but with price now at resistance, i would have exited with 20 pips...

edit - btw, this entry would have had a max DD of 6 pips !!

attached is the 15 M GU chart 1.5 hrs after i first posted this chart...looking at the MA, u can see that after the initial increase in volume, there has been no dramatic increase of decrease in volume...which means its going to range with neither the buyers or the sellers willing to take this up or down...so we just sit on the sidelines and watch...we dont lose money by waiting...we have made 20 pips already...

Hi NSK,

I'm amazed how for you is so simple to read the charts, I'm trying to grasp the volume concept but, honestly, I've to admit my ignorance.
I've seen several people in this thread attack you just only because you're trying to do something "easy" for anonymous "john doe" and this IMHO is not fear.
Anyway, could you please be so gentle and trying to explain to me your interpretation on what's happened between 4am gmt 'till now, obviously in relation to the volume?
I think this can help lots of us.

1)I ask questions as much as i want , specialy when someone claims to know the "truth" about something, and charges money for that
2) Iam not trading with any VSA approach, just pullbacks
3) You claim to trade and fully understand VSA , but on the other you charge fees to "teach" others , so i strongly guess you dont make a single euro in trading your approach.
4) This thread is free , let the market and the time decide if NSK idea works out .
5) I dont care who you claim to be , i have simply no idea how a profitable trader is able to write ten thousands of postings in several forums , teaching others , and is still able to trade profitable.

I would appreciate if you can show more examples of your way of looking at volume for better understanding. You can do examples for past trades, but with specific bars and times in order to easily spot time of entries.

Hi all great thread and thank you.

Just for clarity and to KISS

Price down + volume UP = potential price reversal UP

Price UP + volume UP = potential short

Price UP + Volume Down = Potential short as move up not supported.

Question Price down +volume down = not sure, potential long! any clues?

Also I always apply MM line to every chart. Amazing indi.

GU Volume UP + price down and it revesred and opend my buy stop. Currently +8pip

As I type +10pips and holding above major MM s/r

Question +10pips but volume now going slightly down so should I cull this as its not supported?
