michaelwen,

What don't you understand about our TDI exit signals? Maybe some of you can jump in and help Michael by explaining it a different way... I'd appreciate the help...

I think I understand what michaelwen meant to say. I have the same issue understanding Big E. Trading, let's say, 4H candle TDI will change the shape after candle close, means after 4 hours(or, if I switch time frame and back again). It happened with me I was -20 and +, but TDI was still in the right direction, and will stay that way until next candle forms, or I manually switch timeframe. In situations like this I have hard time to deside what to do too. to stay in the trade until I see TDI is flattening out, or be out of the trade as soon as I reach -6-8 PIPs?

Cliff,

Hey buddy. Get off those low timefrane charts and look for set ups on the 1hr and above. Less noise, less head fakes, less calories... lol

Honestly... move up to the plate on Demo and make some real pips and build your confidence. You'll never regret it...

I see two sell entries on the chart but don't see any signals to go short. What am I missing? Please mark entries with a verticle line... thanks...

Hi Eric-Please comment on the statements I have written. When PA is at 68 or 32 levels there is most likely a reversal coming. It is safest to take a trade when PA is near the 50 level. Thank you again for everything. Susan~

I seem to see exits much more easily than entries. Does anyone on the thread have any suggestions for me? I'm interested in placing a trade using the 4 hour candle before going to sleep for the night. I'd like to trade the 1 hour chart for the New York session. Thanks everyone.....Susan~

Big E - re: post 4188. Does the dashed green line indicate entry point and red dashed line a hard stop? Maybe 5 pips or so??? Thanks.

Susan,

Sorry I missed or didn't answer your question.

When the TDI green/red are moving towards the 68/32 lines... don't panic. Just become more aware that your TDI signals will be showing an exit pretty soon. I've recently posted some charts where green was over 68 and yet moved another 100+ pips long. I've posted a million charts showing TDI entries... it's simple/easy, never changes and is good on all time frames...

Dean Malone takes trades when the green crosses the 50 line because it is safest and most conserative. I found I missed entering a lot of trades when I did that so I started entering when green crosses red.

Night Trades: You just have to look at your new 4hr candles when they appear. If they don't give you the set up your looking for... just go to bed. 2-3 times a week there will be a solid set up and take it then... be patient and not so itchy to be in a trade all the time. Wait for the best set ups and you'll make lots of pips.

Entries... see post #4188.

I watch IBFX charts. As I am dedicated to mastering the BigE 5 method one of the next steps is to learn how to add a chart to a post. Might anyone explain how to do this in baby steps? Many thanks......Susan~

looks like finally I have someone understand my question.
Big E. all I ask is. timing of exit trade. wait for bar close ? or ASAP when you see TDI green flat , hook DURING the bar form ?

Took this short setup on the 1H and unfortunately I fell asleep, woke up to find a news announcement had spiked me out, I think. Should have checked news and, more importantly, stayed awake. Live and learn, as they say.

michaelwen,

My personal style is to exit the trade if I see the TDI green go flat, hook over or check reversal.... usually at the beginning of a new candle.

This is another reason I don't trade during the day. Both charts have been in play about 7 hrs on the 4hr charts... little momentum... I entered about 10am this morning... 5pm now.

Hi Big E:
With FXDD do you use metatrader or FXDD trader for your charts? Thanks for all your help. Have moved to 1 hr charts, starting to move to 4 hr and daily next, so much more relaxing, and profitable, thanks again.

Jim

Bigjim...

I use FXDD MT4 platform to trade.

What you said about being more relaxed and more pips profit is what I'm yelling from the house tops on using longer timeframes... thanks
