DislikedListen up guys; this could be BIG.
Pippo might have inadvertently supplied us with the means to trade from the middle of the sixths outwards. Here is how:
[list][*]draw a box around the middle white line, to create a trade-from-within area. The box size is a user input.[*]when the market enters the box, place pending buy and sell trades x pips above the box for the buy, and below for the sell. No stop loss. Take profit is whichever dashed magenta line is appropriate.[*]The Buy fills, the markets cooperate (yeah, right) and roars to the dashed...Ignored
DislikedHere is another email I could not resist posting. Leave a bit of a gap between reading the list and scrolling to the punch line. I fell for it.

DislikedI am terribly sorry Pete. UseHardRecoveryStop does not work and locks in losers.
I typed a post telling everybody about this, but for the life of me I cannot find it. I guess I typed it but did not actually send it - I do this from time to time.
I have put a fix in post 1 where this input is absent, so newbies do not get caught out. The rest of you must turn this off.

DislikedHi Steve,
This notification was in post 1511:
Be aware guys that I am only using the Candlestick trailing stop on my demo account. Setting UseHardRecoveryStop to 'true' appears to lock in some losers, so that definitely needs turning off.Ignored
DislikedEOB is smooth and off to a good start.....Everything looks normal....A week or so will tell...

DislikedThank you so much whip. I am so relieved that am not even going to take the pot at Pete that I was mentally preparing until I couldn't find my own post.
Leaving that aside and more usefully:
Guys, it really is vitally important that you take note of my posts.
This is not an ego thing. I am coding a robot that we are trading live. I inevitably use it live before you do. On demo, I have a greater understanding of how it works than you do. Usually.

DislikedI have two of these open - ej and gj.
On the other hand, I hedged my L4 ej when my Logical triggered a clear buy, and made 30 pips and more cash on one trade than I managed for the whole of last week.

DislikedHi Steve,
I am running your EOB on a demo account, and watching its performance with awe so far:Ignored
DislikedBear in mind that I do not speak with the trading authority of macman, scooby-doo or Brian. I am still a beginner.
I was stupid enough to leave TOB running on my xxxJPY pairs, so I have EJ at L4 and GJ at L3, with no more trading possible.
The retrace will come. We all know it will come. When it will come is another matter. A couple of weeks ago, the world took the decision that the Yen was too strong and acted to weaken it. I had to work out what to do until the retrace comes.
So, I have been operating a system of protective hedging....Ignored
DislikedI feel like getting a whip out and bashing my CADJPY candle down
I have a feeling the retracement is imminent though so keep on holding on in hopeIgnored
DislikedWe all know that the fastest way to ensure a rise in the value of the Yen is to get pissed off and liquidate our hodlings. We would do this 5 seconds before the markets scream back in what would have been our favour.
I have gained much from Sixths trading. I think patience is the biggest.
