The problem with the code yesterday was that TOB has to clean up unwanted extra pending trades, so I needed to find a way to tell it that the second box trade is needed.
It looks as though this fix works.

A warning to all. I relearned a hard lesson on my live account by using the the L3/L4 Recovery trailing trade option in the current TOB from post# 1 before checking it out on a demo account first. I had both UseRecoveryTrailingStop and Use HardRecoveryStop set to true, the default settings. Correct me if I am wrong, but my understanding of the way this option was supposed to work was closing either L3, or L4 trades, when they were in profit to whittle down the DD. The EURAUD L3 and L4 trades were already there when I set the latest TOB version on the chart. As you can see the robot correctly closed the L4 trade in profit at the hard SL, but for some reason it CLOSED ALL FOUR TRADES as well, resulting in a pretty heavy hit in the account.
I think the logic and code needs to rechecked on this option to make sure it is correct. In the meantime, I have set this option to false on my live account charts.
I hope no one else has shared this experience.

I typed a post telling everybody about this, but for the life of me I cannot find it. I guess I typed it but did not actually send it - I do this from time to time.
I have put a fix in post 1 where this input is absent, so newbies do not get caught out. The rest of you must turn this off.

This is not an ego thing. I am coding a robot that we are trading live. I inevitably use it live before you do. On demo, I have a greater understanding of how it works than you do. Usually.

Makes a change, as we all damn-well know.
This trade is quite a long way from even the top gold line, let alone its tp, so plenty of time for this trade to turn around and become a loser, especially as my live GC buys are about a gazillion pips into a Recovery hole.
Live, I would probably set a be +x stop and let the trade do its thing. On demo, I want to watch what happens.
Mighty impressive start to the box breakout though. I am greatly encouraged.
Not as much fun as R&R. Hey ho.

I thought that 1511 comment applied to EOB, not TOB. So, my mistake is a lesson to be even more careful.Pete
I have two of these open - ej and gj.
On the other hand, I hedged my L4 ej when my Logical triggered a clear buy, and made 30 pips and more cash on one trade than I managed for the whole of last week.

I was stupid enough to leave TOB running on my xxxJPY pairs, so I have EJ at L4 and GJ at L3, with no more trading possible.
The retrace will come. We all know it will come. When it will come is another matter. A couple of weeks ago, the world took the decision that the Yen was too strong and acted to weaken it. I had to work out what to do until the retrace comes.
So, I have been operating a system of protective hedging. I set a pending buy EG and GJ for 50% of the highest Recovery trade, at a few pips beyond the the upper magenta line. When this fills, I set a trail of 30 pips on the platform and leave it alone.
The pending for GJ is set at 139.7 with a tp of 140; it will take a major surge upwards to break through 140 permanently.
I also based my hedging decisions yesterday on the work I am doing developing my Logical system. When Logical triggered an EJ trade, I took a hedge over here with the same 30 pip tp; worked a treat.

Hi Steve,
I am running your EOB on a demo account, and watching its performance with awe so far:
Never seen that before.
It helps that the markets are moving strongly in one direction at the mo. There will be times when a box trade floats around in the middle of the screen for days on end, doing nothing more that costing swap.
There will be times when both pending fill, then the market..............
For now, it is sweet.

We all know that the fastest way to ensure a rise in the value of the Yen is to get pissed off and liquidate our hodlings. We would do this 5 seconds before the markets scream back in what would have been our favour.
I have gained much from Sixths trading. I think patience is the biggest.
But the Yen will rise soon.
