It would seem that the Split Enz did not track and follow the Smart Money in the markets.

Whilst most of Gavin's webinars are a re-hash of basic ideas and the same oil call (get over it already), sometimes there are some nuggets in there for the faithful.

Take a look at the ES charts for today.

Beautiful set-up here that was a direct result of something Gavin mentioned in his last webinar.

Notice the Green lines on the chart on the left. The key one is the lower line. Note how price bounces off this level as we see strength enter the market and get a nice long just above the high of a squat.

Where did this green line come from?

Take a look at the chart on the right. During the off hours, we got a bar that was Ultra Ultra Wide Spread on Ultra Ultra High Volume. This is a strange bar for anytime, but especially for this time.

As Gavin showed in the webinar, when another similar bar appeared after hours, I put a line at the low and the high of this bar. For a long trade, I would be looking for the market to "jump off" this level prior to moving up in the RTHs. As was the case from the webinar, the market stays true to form and bounces off this level en route to a nice upside trend.

Also note how the traditional close trigger level is in play here too. Which I guess goes to show you that, even if you had missed the after hours manipulation, you could still get into the trade. More correctly, even if you had missed the after hours manipulation, it wasn't missed by the rest of the market.

We also lost london so volume was bound to drop off... also as I mentioned in a post yesterday 4060 is key for bulls to hold and 4140 for bears to hold and for the other to break and then hold.

Also demand dried up yes... but no real supply came in either.

Nice chart... I see big time accumulation going on here with SM loading up again and again at 4060. That being said FOMC and EU hawks are fighting and we do have NFP this week so SM may not take it very far up as 4100 is a nice midway point to go either way from... unlike us they can blow the crap out of all their longs on a dime and take it down a few hundred pips without blinking.

Look at that high vol and spread bar right at days open... the low played a short trade bounce as marked.

Just got back from pulling some old school strings together and clearing things up with clients. At the same time, I had to enjoy some of those bullish pips...

It looks like asia open is staying out of positions until us opens, thats if it continues like this through lo.

Don't know looks like that last UJ hour bar may have found some buyers... close well off it's low on a major increase in volume. Still looks weak for Yen...

GJ was a very high volume indecision almost pin bar... not sure.

Edit... could be absorption volume... next bar will tell.
