i appreciate your concern/suggestion but i think it's inevitable to get sidetracked from time to time.
the world is not all about trading.

having said that, if u read back on the thread (i havent read all of the thread), off topics abound.
strictly speaking, if u say fti is the only 'exception to the rule', then how will he solicit responses if he's the only one allowed to do off-topic posts?

im not getting any younger & the world is not gettng any better.
i posed a question (which is legitimate & pertinent, IMHO) to Sir fti, since he is much wiser & more experienced than i am, & i'd like to get his thoughts about what's happening.

i know u have a good intention but i think u should "channel it in the right direction/s".

Hello FTI & Fellow Threaders!
Since I recently started reading the Thread,
it seems that some old ideas have gone lost.
I am sure that you do remember Art of War.
FTI introduced this book at the very beginning for a purpose.
The very first chapter of the book dictates my comment.
As you know, the History Channel made a special on AOW.
You may be able to download the whole thing.
Alternatively, you may want to view it through YouTube.

I do hope you like the first chapter and find an analogy to my purpose.
I also hope that I captured FTI's purpose on his teaching.
I am not looking to feel unwelcome in this thread.
Trading is a serious business (involves money).
I think that FTI's introduction of AOW had a purpose.
Again, check AOW's Chapter 1 (see link above).

What i am trying to achieve is save this entire TAF thread on the Kindle...so for that i need to save it one big file and i want only Printable version(http://www.forexfactory.com/printthread.php?t=57639) and create one web page with all the pages linked inside..... so i just need this forum ...

anyone knows how to save multi link pages... to pdf and then i can convert to kindle

Great idea - will spent some time on it, cause I wa thinking the same lines...

There was a great tool mentioned in the "Equitiy Millipede .. " thread. It was able to slice FF thread's into every piece you want (i.e. select only defined Authors ...) and recompile it to any new composition, ecerpt, summary, what ever. Basically, if you can reduce the FF thread format to a simple format, as flowing text with links, then you can convert it to a more Kindle suitable format.
Will have some time tonight, to play arround.
Let me know, if you have found a solution before 8pm GMT tonidht ...

Hello FTI et al…

I spent the last three months reading the first 300 pages of TAF. I am currently on my second reading, and it only gets better the second time around. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to FTI and other members of this thread. The lessons learned about trading and life itself, have been invaluable. I also spent the last month re-orienting myself to this particular MO by demo trading. I am going to start very small, dive in the deep end, and hopefully, I earn my stripes.

hey niels , its cricket , we Indians take cricket very seriously (too seriously sometime) , we are at the world cup semifinal against our archrival Pakistan

to most of us , every India Pakistan game has a tense aura about it , this one has taken it to a new level , it being a semifinal of worldcup

most ppl in India wld skip work today and roads be all empty with the night sky cleared off pollution ... n i wish i was exaggerating

in the Philippines' case, most people watch Manny Pacquiao (boxing).
when he fights, we get almost zero traffic & zero to low crime rates. it's a nice time to go out

Nice riding on the short side this moring, could have been a great day. But fti has been ordered to completely stay in bed after milking the positions.

Yesterday and this morning was the first time he showed energy rising since last heart attacking. It's a pity he spoiled the recovering chance. Hope next time he will be careful, not over-tax the energy when it comes.
