I was also thinking if the old top will be broken. hrmmm. Because if the big money is riding the train already, it means that there is incredible amount of strength!? So does that mean 4265 will break?

Could be but it won't be until tommorow earlierst... not going any higher today IMHO... moved more than average already.

Edit... we have a very low developping POC today... yesterday we had a high POC on a downday and we went back up to test all 3 of the previous days POC's... Not sure if we will return to today's POC tommorow or how much it will rise up by the end of the day... we could just leave it virgin also for a while...

We also tested the POC for 4 days ago... many POC's touched today.
Today's zone = Tomorrow's opportunity!

I wonder if I can make a humble suggestion here ... the majority of those in this thread will be here after a real-time event like this has happened. If it is even 30 minutes after this M5 bar has printed, when there is no chart posted, there is little learning value to the post, and it ends up diluting the thread.

I happened to be away for an hour, but coming back hours or much later in the day after a specific 5m chart is referenced, just doesn't give the post much usefullness - I value everyone's contribution, and - like many - seeing the chart crystalizes what the author meant and adds if ever so slightly to our experience & skill - or, helps us dispute/add learning value if there was something in the previous charts that maybe led someone to a different conclusion, or might lead to a healthy/learning debate - and that's all goodness!

I might be guilty of not always posting a chart too, if I'm talking about specific PA - if so, please slap me silly!

POC = point of control given by market profiler. You can find it in this thread or in auction market theory thread. Edit: the indicator I mean.

I always try and present my charts for trades etc... but sometimes you are just discussing current PA and anyone following along can look at their own charts. If I had posted a chart (which I couldn't as I was on my phone) of the UT and volume spike it wouldn't teach anyone anything as then I would have had to post another chart as to why the UT did or did not play out for it to be of any value and well it takes time to put together charts which one doesn't always have when trading and working simulatenously.

I am in no way trying to dilute the thread with uselss posts but I also feel that if everyone thows up a chart everytime they commented on PA then people would get really confused... but this is just my 2 cents.

From my understanding of POC, I will take a random explanation of my understanding. I am not agreeing to this, but just trying to clarify my understanding.

so it sounds like if we do NOT have a POC tomorrow, it means that we will see a down day tomorrow?, or if we do have POC, of course it will be a given. I am trying to understand this term, and it is becoming interesting.

you will always have a point of control. not matter what type of day. It just varies in location.

POC is a volume based point of control which means the point of highest volume activity. There are indicators that plot this point for you everyday on MT4. Typically I will keep the today plus previous 5 days as price seems to like returning to and testing the POC's.

Hey friend, charts, comments, all your posts are very interesting and teaching.
Your "too many" is never enough. So please keep posting.
I think it is not possible to post a chart every time you see a setup (first priority is trading) so it is normal that sometimes one just posts a comment. It has anyway a great importance for us all, because it could indicate something some people missed or interpreted in different way. It's all food for our brains.

Fair enough. A chart in this type of forum is looked at positively I'd think, given what we do. I know I and others look forward to the good ones, like from yourself. (And of course if one is on a iPhone or something a chart is not always possible.)

And SonofSin5 mentioned lurkers ... ah yes, them ... there's usually twice as many that aren't members hangin' out here. I wonder how many actually make use of our trades?
