The marked candle makes me a little trouble ! What is it!? We have an upbar with lower volume, closed on top but lower as previous. When I saw I thought of weakness as we went up on low volume but this was wrong. Can please anyone help me thinking the right way? Thank you very much!

having seen sos in the background, that down bar with low vol are no selling pressure bars. The bar you're pointing is the confirmation bar.
Selling pressure bar should be validated by next bar up.

Thank you ivonivon,
By looking at volume which was becoming lower I must have seen this, at that time!

The bar previous was a NS in a confirmed uptrend and trading the break of this would have gotten you in long on the second bar after it. The one you marked is a ND in the wrong place and has no value... Besides that the low was never broken and the next bars were up completly removing it from our memories... it was more of a transisiton bar from the weak sellers to the buyers stepping back in.

always remember, do not conclude based on a single bar.
always check background... look at the context... get a perspective (forest vs. trees)

A ND in a confirmed strong background is to be ignored... You need more SOW previous to a ND for it to be of any relevance.

Look at that 5 min UT bar into yesterday's high... Did they find sellers or were they just probing?

Could be but it wouldn't be the first time I saw a high volume UT end up being tested and broken.

Next few bars seem to be coonfirming sellers or profit taking since we have moved like 170 pips and London just went home... Looking for it to retrace into 4157-4137.

There were a couple of nice low volume tests right away off that UT close trigger level.

yah.. but unfortunately became a failed test.
heavy supply entering the market like that would leave the market move sideway temporarily, also i think my ADR show there's little room for anymore price movements.

will call it a day for now.

Ok so lets think about some things for a minute.

1. Would all large money players know that Portugal was going to be downgraded?
Yes
2. Does large money use news to panic the herd and sway their pockets to a certain mindset?
Yes
3. Do we have signs of strength in higher time-frame backgrounds?
Yes.
4. Are we sitting near an old top or resistance level that would need an incredible amount of strength(money collected prior to thrust) to break.
Yes ..4280

I will be waiting in the weeds for tells that we are going higher.

Think like the predator not like the prey.
