Basically the same as Strada, always make sure the RSI cross is in line with the MA crosses...when it is against be wary to get out after the MA crosses back against you while also preparing to maybe cancel that trade and take the trade in the opposite direction as long as RSI is on the right side again....
On the higher TF's 1Hr I'm always keeping an eye out for the same as the shorter TF's rules however as I'm going for larger profits I keep an eagle eye out for S/R, RN's and any other trouble areas for profit areas and stops..

First attempt: not the best but i'm still learning how to decipher the indicators that keep popping up, they have been off lately.

after getting greedy i decided im happy with 10 pips, i attempted to set my own trailing stop manually on the last trade EJ and thats down from $27 where i had a feeling to pull out.

oh well

Hi ya Cmoss..

With shorter TF's I'm noticing that the 21RSI works good but you could use a 14RSI as well just a bit more sensitive and for 1Hr onwards I prefer the 14RSI..

You can easily change the settings in the RSI indicator to show different RSI settings on the different TF's if you wanted to by installing another RSI to only show on the certain TF's for the setting you wanted..

aaranigio the signal on my charts came in at 9.00am uk time, do you not consider the red coded news at 9.30.

Hi ya Aj1..

The News had just come out and price stayed above RN for a good solid support also some good PA on the 1Hr TF.. so I took the break of the small resistance area to the left of it for an entry on the 5min TF..

I figured that out years ago but abandoned this system because as far as I could work out you give all your profit beck in the chop. If anyone has managed to overcome that I would love to hear how

Attached is a crossover indicator for metatrader. If you attach a 50 EMA of the close to your chart you get a clear view of this system and when to buy and sell. Maybe someone can improve this indicator by adding the price close above/below the 50EMA (RSI crossing the middle line) so we only get valid arrows.

Hi ya Puppypippy..

Sadly that is the problem with any system out there with the whip-saws you can get in prices and as you know will cost your trading capital....
The best we can do is take note of the support/resistance areas, round numbers, types of price action or price patterns, to keep the edge in our favour..
Also certain pairs play nicely with systems due to liquidity so at times better to just focus on a couple of pairs..

Change the settings for the arrows to a 2 and a 50 and that should give you close enough to what you want for signals....

Good Morning
Some time ago Strada you said something about being careful when the price goes against the signal bar, could you please expand on that.
Would you then wait for the price to break the hi/lo of the signal bar, or just improve on the close, and if the price did not improve for 4-5 bars how would treat this.
