Wait for a ns to appear and price to take out its high. The 15 min eur sure does look good though.

Went long GU from my phone at 6156 break of NS high after 2 bar reversal on 5 min charts.

Missed a nice entry on EU off the 5min NS after a squat downbar, hidden test 2 bar reversal and retrace ending in NS...
Today's zone = Tomorrow's opportunity!

I dont think the gu train has stopped.

On another note the Eur really stuck it to a lot of short traders today. Now for my comical relief I head on over to the Eur thread to read how everybody was long.

LOL!
I must admit I did short the weakness below 1.4150, but only managed to get 12 little pips...
Then I went to make and have breakfast, and when I came back, both EU and GU had already shot up... so I'll sit on my hands for now... probably for today, if nothing happens before Europe closes.

Reports that Portugal may not need a bailout are fueling this rally.

Good job at getting a long but leave the self back patting to the Eur thread.

Minor VSA element here. More of a clear trendline play. But, this is a journal entry for myself.

The blue circle/red arrow indicated marker was the perfect entry: very low risk, <5 pip SL in case of failure, and high probability of bounce and then breakeven should it come back down, and buying evident on M5, although not dramatic.

But I was making breakfast at the time (laptop in front of me), and a heavily skewed mindset: the euro had already bounced 99 pips, and up to the 50% fib of the fall off it's high. 99 pips seemed like a good range for the day, given sentiment, news and where we'd been during London. I had the trendline in place, but did not take the touch and subsequent bounce.

But low and behold, we now sit another 103 pips from that trendline bounce giving 160 pip day range, and a full retracement of yesterday's fall. We've double topped to yesterday's high and are at a POC. So far, we have completely - and quickly - retraced yesterday's decline. I've missed out on at least 80 easy pips.

Currently, looks like they have sold into the rise and we may peak here. It's am amazing enough feat IMO. Am short here with a now BE stop - should be good for a dip to at least 1.4173 and significant POC. Could it head higher to 1.42480, 1.428? Nothing surprises with the euro, does it. Mind you, the crappy USD doesn't help.

If your decision works don't pat yourself too much on the back, as much as you think you made a good move chance played a big roll, likewise if your decision turns out to be a bust don't beat yourself up either. Something’s you just can't control. And the market is one of them.

Good luck to all.

The marked candle makes me a little trouble ! What is it!? We have an upbar with lower volume, closed on top but lower as previous. When I saw I thought of weakness as we went up on low volume but this was wrong. Can please anyone help me thinking the right way? Thank you very much!

I agree that looks confusing and for me I was anticipating a downmove after we printed a ND on the 9:55am est bar coming into that 8:45am est highest vol upthrust bar, but I think the thing to look at is that long up bar before the one you pointed out, seems to me like absorption. with a NS before the bar you had an arrow at.
