The software ignored the wave 1 because of low probability setup.

sorry for answering so late. Had a complete breakdown of Internet-Connection, and that with open positions LOL


I think we have now two options:

a) the whole move from 1.18 up is to be counted as a big ABC (or WXY), now in C (or W). At 4364 wave C is 0,618x wave A

b) the move up from 1.18 was finished at 1.42, then the first impulse down to 1.28. Now the move up from 1.28 is best counted as a WXY. I have seen a lot of counts which try as pure impulse or as ABC (5-3-5), but I think one have to stretch the rules to achieve it. My rule of thumb: if you can not easily count an impulse it is likely a corrective wave.

I think we have now two options:
So based on that I go with wxy. Therefore we are now in wave Y (or if you like in the last C wave impulse which started around 3866 two days ago). Here I can count, based on analysis of Awesome Oscillator on 10 and 15min TF, that we have completed wave 1 to wave 3 (or are about to end subwave 5 of wave 3). Target for wave 5 could be around 4130-4160.

i heavily doubt that the change from a corrective to an impulse pattern is correct.

Hello,

I don't trade on EW. But, learning on this technical. I found EW is too complex, too subjective, and too art ! I often lost in this jungle.

I am not comfortable with lot of these inside(lower levels) wave count, which make me sick, headache. So, I only use top-down approach to 8 hours chart or 4 hours.

I like to form an Macro Wave Theory and wave counting in order to simplify wave counting and remove all ambiguous aspect of current state of the art of Elliott wave theory and wave counting. We need a significant progress or breakout in wave theory, and effective software(EA) on wave counting.

My wave counting on Eur-usd. I found it is hard to count on weekly chart - big picture for euro.
