Does anyone know of any alert services that send emails that are then forwarded to my phone? I used to use alertfx, but they seem to have gone out of business.

I know that FxSolutions' live accounts have them, does their demo have it as well.

Cheers.

I think there was a problem in my wording. I'm not looking for SIGNALS. I want a service that simply ALERTS me via email to mobile when a currency hits a certain price, just as AlertFx used to do. If I have orders in and I'm not near a pc I need to know when those orders are executed.

I haven't tried it, but TOS has this functionality built into their platform. Just open a demo acct, which I believe is unlimited; I think mine has been going well over a year.

Hey Dopey,

I think its possible in MT4. If you set up an alert in MT4 it can send it to you cell. Try going to Tools--Options--Email.

In the bottom last section is "To". This where you put your phone number... its different for each cell service but I know for AT&T its "your cell [email protected]"

Try to google it, it will probably explain better then me, all I know its possible to set up a regular alert in mt4 and have it send you a text.

Alertfx.com came back, I used it for my alerts when it was under MG Forex . I think they closed down when MG went under, but it seems they're back up. Perhaps someone bought the address because it looks completelty different and works bettter. Maybe another broker took them over and brought it back to life?

btw i'm new to the forum, hi all!

Hey Dopey,

I don't know if you found a solution yet, but to follow-up with Saintsurfer, I wanted to let you know that DealBook does have alerts that can be sent by email or text. This functionality is available on both the demo and live accounts.

Let me know if you want more information.
Above all, Integrity.
