9800 might be a better place to look around....
Logics do not apply in FOREX

Long again at 34,it looks like it wants up.
Waiting for hourly to close but thinking
i might scrach this trade.
This feels like short covering,
looking to bail i think.

of hope for this though.
Bailed at 15. minus 19 pips.
Might even look to short.

Thanks Jade, no sophisticated determinition, commodities selling going too far imo, betting on a recovery there, just a hunge this time

Agree re the overkill. Market is driven by people, emotion does play a role, but usually they get over it, and when they do, it's a mega backflip on the negativity when the extent of the over-reaction becomes clear.

There's a lovely gap on the cross 600 pips below where it is now - gaps on the cross don't always fill but it will certainly be interesting to see if this one does.

Hi Jade,i want to be bullish on this pair
but i can't get out of my mind a retest of
9600 before a good rally starts.
I'm guessing a Chinese interest rate raise would
be bearish for the Aussie,I've come across chat
about one twice today.

Got long again on the dip @ 9790. Stops below 9700. TP @ 9950. If we clear 9980, I'll look to get long again. Good trades to all.

Anybody know what's the cause of this spike in AUD/JPY which is really caused by AUD/USD? It spiked up like 100 pips just in the last 20 min.

I didn't see any news nor any Calendar items regarding Australia.
