Just wanted to revisit this post by grkfx which was a really big step forward for me

I started making a list of order flow generators that looks something like this:

Generator/Cause/Source/Inefficiency/Impact/Liquidity

Generator: what will cause orders to be placed or executed
Cause: market mechanics on why orders will be placed and by whom
Source: chart or IFR or news etc
Inefficiency: momentum or direction bias or misspricing etc
Impact: estimated amount of movement expected
Liquidity: provides liquidity or consumes liquidity

It's really been an amazing exercise, i'm up to about 35 generators and the list just keeps getting larger. I can see how when the many of the generators align extremely high probability trades can be placed

Darkstar,

I wasn't sure how you would take to writing and so was worried that, although your book would deliver the goods, it would be more 'instructional manual' than a well written and thoughtful welcome to your world. Going by your introduction I was wrong to be worried.

Great start.

Although you have given more than enough by just opening up through your posts, I wish your book was in hardcopy so to keep as a memento

Dont' worry, he'll give you a copy and I'll tell you why. The main reason DS is writing the book is to make a lot of people hunt the stops which will generate a lot of hunter's order flow and then he'll just hunt the hunters.
