Question for VEGAS and others using Vegas system..... 2 replies
Quoting compro99DislikedThat was tongue in cheek. I agree, i didn't see any signal in GBP but i took the CHF one. If i am not wrong, they could have taken it based on 1hr tunnel method. I can't see any link with VWB.Ignored
Quoting nutmg12DislikedLOL you got me.
What concepts did you base your CHF trade on? Either way it turned out to be a good one.
I'm trying to learn how to take signals from both VWB and 4hrT. Its difficult to tell where the "Black Dot" should be.
There are posts from people all over the place that don't seem to be following the rules of either system for entries.
Happy Trading.

Quoting compro99DislikedLike Vegas, i use VWB to sniff out trade. We don't have to be follow strictly in which market is dynamic. Price AROUND extreme fib line, we should be alert already.
I have weekly pivot based on the central line alone and daily pivot zone. When price is around extreme fib and if it goes below weekly pivot, i will short but that also depend on vegas 3 concepts on price action. There was a quick reversal from Monday price action, i see that as momentum and speed is also quite drastic. It may not a reversal happening in a day but takes 2 days to form it. I take it as a yes.
I took the Chf trade. This morning, seeing 40plus pips gain, i breakeven it. Now it is a free trade. Price can reverse in any of the fib but the more extreme the better. U would miss trade if u focus ONLY on the extreme part so to compensate this, we can take smaller positions for those below the extreme fib with tigter stops.Ignored
Quoting nutmg12DislikedEverything you said makes sense.
I sat and watched GBP/USD, EUR/USD and USD/CHF move very quickly. I could have pulled the trigger but am trying to learn Knife and VWB and didnt feel they were good entries.
With your help I see where I could have entered.
It seems like it could become a free for all though. What's importand is you have a plan and you followed it through for profit.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ignored
Quoting xspowerxDislikedAnyone else keeping an eye on the EURJPY and USDJPY?
USDJPY - At the extreme. No reversal signal shown yet.
EURJPY - Pretty close. Was at it yesterday.Ignored
Quoting vegasDislikedEveryone,
I want to address the price action in most currency pairs that I trade. Lately [past few weeks] market action is some of the worst I have seen in recent memory. Extreme lulls and then comes the 15 minute "drive-by-shooting" followed by more sleeping.Ignored
Quoting ArtamonDislikedG'day 5MS,
This is great and easy to follow. Of course, for this to work properly we must ensure that our daily bar is based on the CME 5pm as start of day, correct?
MY current bar in MT4 demo is the 14:00 bar, GMT is 13:35 and Chicago time is 07:35. Based on this, the start of the next day should be in little over 9.5 hrs chicago time, making it the 23:00 bar in MT4 AND 23:00 gmt?
How does one adjust the time in MT4 to reflect this??
I know this has been mentioned a few times, and I have found those posts, but I haven't found the solution.
Thanks,
Andrew.Ignored
Quoting vegasDislikedEveryone,

In the 2 major pairs that I trade, gbp/usd and eur/jpy, this type of price action is atypical. The reason I mention this is that it is very important to understand that the 3 concepts of VWB Part II are key in setting up, executing, and then profiting from a trade. When these concepts are missing it becomes very difficult setting up highly profitable trades.Ignored
Quoting fx-trader777DislikedAnd my question
How you define fib lines?Ignored
