Do you want to mentor me?

This may sound sad but true.After some years of frustrating forex, time has come to a nowhere road, I´m looking for some one to take me under his/her wing and teach me how to trade the forex market.

I wouldn't mind doing this in principle but what happens if you tell everybody about my method and liquidity in the euro dryes up? If thousands of traders all know what exactly to look for on the eurusd what effect will this have on volumes, I always wonder if it won't 'actually' destroy the pattern.

Perhaps you could tell us more about yourself...
It is hard to tell what kind of forex trader you are
from so few posts over the years.

To find a mentor, I think you have to find someone aligned
with your own personality somewhat.

What time frames do you think suit you best?
What times (sessions) are you able to focus on trading?
What are your goals? (30% a year, or 500% a year)
Tell us some of your strengths?
What do you think are your weaknesses?

I know that is a lot to admit in a public forum,
but I guarantee it will help find someone suited to you.

First let me thank you all for your interest.

Intu thank you, as you said it´s hard to admit when you are not doing things good specially in a busines like this. Admiting your errors could not be a solution but not admiting sure no.

Let me tell you in a few words how my experience it´s. I´m basically full trader since 3 years. My work let me and give me a lot of free time that I can dedicate to my trading, so basically I´m glued all day to my computer. I think this is an advantage so I can almost trade all kind of intraday timeframes. I have to admit I have never traded anything beyond 1hr rarely 4hrs. I have found most of startegies are like ying/yang. I have make good for some time but inevitable bad times comes and take all the good. I have never learn to make it better than breakeven in the long run. About strategies I have tested almos all on earth. I´ve been at some time almost all kind of traders, Scalper, trender, ranger, news trader, gap trader ........
I have participated in so many trading rooms for some time, and never never find my place in them as also the other traders I have met. I have never find a real trader in my life that can give me the true steps to follow. Since then I define myself a more lonly trader, just me my computer and the market.
I hope I have give a global idea of how I´m as a trader, if some one wants more details plase P.M or we can have a chat. Thanks again you all.
