trendline resistance plus gartley,

tradeupdate. TP1 done, missed TP2 by a pip. Probable false break of previous daily lows in Dec10 so SL now at pinbar high and declining resistance...

Here are some possible shorter timeframe entries into the larger EG and ECHF patterns.

EGm30 at t/l resistance and testing back of broken tl. Small stop requirement and good RR. Initial target could be D of possible bullish butterfly with runner targeting the larger h8 pattern.

ECHF m30, potential bat forming with possibility to trade CD leg once/if "B" is broken. RR only about 1:1 on this one. Alternatively, could just look to short at D for entry into CD leg of larger gartley.

Generally the patterns I post here fail, so lets see if I can keep my 100% record ha.

Glad I waited on eu, sold BO from range after price could not bounce (<0.382), target 1.00AB

EG worked out nicely too, took partial profit at D

doesn't matter so long as you can find a lesson in each one.... i think i learn more from each failed pattern that's posted than from the ones that go to plan...afterall if it goes to plan then there isn't much to learn...so i'm still learning heaps!!!

i would say that if you can draw a trendline then you should try to look for a pattern that fits into the trendline than the other way around (which I've learnt the hard way)...

after some chart osmosis i have squared up my kiwi at .7345

the daily support that was tested but not broken needs to be respected

combine that with a pappa and baby ABCD abcd confluence at the days low has me looking for long entries..

am short kiwi on cd leg of daily abcd, targeting D of this gartley. hard to sell lows like this, good cance it will blow up in my face, but....

also, a little au m5 butterfly at 34. chinese data out soon and that bullish bat held so far, so maybe best to leave the alone, just something for interest sake.

the little au m5 butterfly could be testing the back of broken h4 tl. 1.0038 is also the 38.2 retracement from the previous swing high. so i took a short at 1.0032 with 15 pip stop, target 1.00 AB (.9911)

can you post your daily ABCD chart? i don't see it unless your talking about the rally big one beginning with the A point is 4th Nov and B 19Dec

i can't post charts today as i'm travelling (at airport)
long nzdusd at .7335 s/l .7315 tp1 .7380 tp2 7460
long audusd at 1.0 s/l .9960 tp1 1.007 tp2 1.0120 (bullish engulfing on 4H oz chart currently)
