Nice collection here Kill. This rule has kept me going longer than anything else. It has kept food on the table and gas in the car through 2 consecutive margin calls within the same month in January.

New traders trying everything under the sun should pay close attention to something, how much time passes and how much money they could have accrued in that time that it takes for a runaway trade to break even. Time really is money, especially when you are starting out with a small account. When a trade is a loser and you know it, trash it. Being a deer that is caught in headlights has the same result over and over again, learned that the very hard way, this rule about removing profits has kept me in long enough to keep paying bills and uncover all the weaknesses in my trading that need to be addressed. Even with small funds (I'm talking 500€ deposits and 4000€ withdrawals in two month spans) you can keep earning through disasters and keep gaining experience without having to dig a gigantic hole to climb up out of first.

Just wanted bring attention to the list as some may gloss over it thinking that the indicators will take care of everything, you know they're out there in droves.
