This is one of those massive wedges that will look obvious in the future. I have been watching this for a while too - but I just decided yesterday that I was comfortable calling it as such now.

There is so much damb BS going on it is almost impossible to try to predict the next move even with good strong solid S/R areas....

But if there is one thing I know, I am fairly sure that if there is a repeat of 2008 or worst I will most certainly be looking very carefully where to put my money because it would make a lot of money !

Euro bail out again shortly, middle east needs to grow up... if all the Africans start running to Euro then the Euro will be proper f'ed.

Unless of course you want to buy corn, wheat, rubber, nat gas, and all other commodities. (I know, there are some other currencies being used in remote futures exchanges, but I thik it would take more than that myself.)

Did you know -

If the American farmer suddenly stopped exporting, there would be 90 more countries on the "hunger" list?

I believe that we should take advantage of that myself. It's not like OPEC has a problem jacking prices around at times. Perhaps a nice decrease in the amount of wheat being exported would remind them that food > oil.

Just a thought. You bastards are all lucky I'm not President!

Difficult certainly. It's all fits and starts.....but don't worry - things will calm down, they always do. You are getting a proper education is all!

Not sure things will calm down Chris, but thats just me being pessimistic.

Read something the other day about peak oil and it was really scary.

We ARE running out of oil and if/when we do the whole planet is stuffed.

They've already worked out how to make a car work on water, but the problem is the oil companies won't let it go into mass production, that being said, we would probably run out of fresh drinking water too hah.

There is almost as much oil in parts of Alaska as Saudi Arabia. There is an oil sands are in the western part of the US that matches that, and they have just figured out a way of drilling, (don't ask me the name of it, I have only been awake for about 10 minutes.) that will allow that oil sands region to produce more than Saudi Arabia. We most certainly are not running out of oil.

What we are doing is running out of oil from the places that we are "allowed" to drill. A major difference. One day, oil will get out of control. The US will be forced to actually drill for it's own. The US dollar then becomes a Petrocurrency.

Good idea really. The US is good for something like 70% of the world's food.(from memory.) Let us be worth most of the world's oil, and we become the richest nation on earth. Again.

As Charlie Sheen would say: "Winning!"

Of course, this assumes that someone in charge doesn't have their head up their ass. We are probably screwed now that I think of it.

This is probably true to be honest. What they to do is make a car run on bullshit. That would be novel.

Actually, in the longer run I'm fairly certain that there would be less hunger if the rich countries like the US and the EU stopped dumping their surplus produce onto the poor countries, wiping out the poor countries domestic farmers in the process.

You know, give a man a fish and he won't feel hunger that day, teach him how to fish for himself...

So as far as I'm concerned, go for that presidency Chris!
