The lack of a stop-limit type order will discourage pros/semi-pros who do not want to be exposed to potential slippage in fast moving markets, and thus always use stop-limit orders to enter.

Also, it would be far better to set actual price levels as thresholds for trade management (take profit/move stop/etc) instead of x number of pips from market, which is super clunky. It's all about levels.

Point 1. I think you must recognize that only the average joe is reading this on forexfactory.com, not the pros you refer to and as such, you must admit the program has much more functionality than most will EVER need (and it does a damn fine job as well)

Point 2. Agree, it may be far better to set actual price levels, which is possible in the program, so that makes me question your experience with MYFX.

Do you own & use it? Have you even trialled it? Over to you, awaiting your 2nd ever posting.......

You should try re-reading my original post a little more carefully. The "trade management" part of the program does NOT allow the entry of actual price levels for profit targets and stop levels. The only part where you can enter actual price levels is in the initial order/stop-loss/profit target...if any. This "core" part of the order resides on the brokers server. The "trade management" aspect, if chosen, resides on the client computer and does not allow specific price levels to be entered, only values based on "x" number of pips.

I don't post a lot here because I actually trade for a living, so I don't hang out in forums spewing BS with the 97% crowd.

Back to you mr. .23 posts per day.

Thanks for the vid.
Either before or after, but I am not taking about the initial stop-loss or take profit. I am referring to all of the additional profit targets and potential (new, and "ratcheted" up/down) stop-losses that are set under the "trade manager" pop-up. See attached screen shot.

The program keeps crashing on my computer (win7, 64 bit, plenty of memory, i-7 chip) as soon as I load the template on any mt4.

Been sending crash reports, screenshots, etc. but so far the response has been very poor and limited to "I don't know" and some canned text about how to use it (lol...rather irrelevant for me).

Will see if there's a solution/reaction over the next couple of days.

This thing is a tremendous ram hog, with two charts open...... one a monthly of 160 bars and a one minute chart of 1000 bars.. ram is at 43%, if I add two more 1000 bar charts, ram usage is at 100 %... way too much ram usage for this type of program.

I can see why they do not reply to your messages, they have no idea as to how to tame the monster.

They may need to take a course in programming, I am surprised that brokers offer it to their clients.

Same problem. Occasionally hangs (while working) I would say 3 out of 10 times. Win7 (x64), i5 3570K. Emailed support multiple times about this, but no response. Been months. Good otherwise I like it.
