Well, I have received an email enticement from them. They picked my address up from GoMarkets somehow (wondering if they might be affiliated with them in some way?).

I too am wondering about their honesty, reliability, claim to STP trade execution, etc., etc.

Could use another reliable Australian broker to do business with.

Anyone out there with any actual history with these folks?

LasVahGoose - I bet 'Alpari' sounded strange the first time you heard it also

I have had a very positive experience with pepperstone so far. Its good to see another regulated aussie broker as being Australian I like to keep my funds on-shore and safe in a tightly-regulated jurisdiction.

I opened a live account about 2 weeks ago and have been closely monitoring spreads on their platform. My Goal was to check 2 things:

I got an email from these guys and no idea why. I thought I would have a look at them and noticed that have only been going for about three months. I struggle to trust a broker that has only been going for 10 minutes! I asked about their finances and client numbers and was told that they have 'hundreds' which doesnt seem like something to brag about.

They told me they had significant capitalisation but they since ignored my emails when I asked for more info! Every question I have asked them has resulted in a very strangely worded responses. I dont normally trust companies that do not have their own licence either and their price feed seems identical to Axis, who I have not been impressed with. Are they a white label? Any idea?

I think they get their liquidity from the integral ECN judging by the spreads I saw in my analysis - Whereas Go Markets get theirs from Currenex.

What I have been seeing is some serious tick volume compared to FXCM - But maybe that has something to do with the recent volatility in the markets.

They don't filter the price feed according to this link on Donna Forex site, whereas I've heard other brokers do.

I signed up a couple weeks ago and experience has been 99% positive so far.

EXCELLENT customer service when I call (I really can't commend them more on this, they really are great), no shady business with the quotes, no problems withdrawing/depositting money (I gotta say they get withdraws processed very quickly, it asks for 48 hours but they got it done in 18-24.)

I have the razor account and the spreads are what they claim, as low as 0.1 on eurusd. but it tends to fluctuate very quickly between 0.1 and 0.9, average would be about 0.6. You pay $3.50 per 1 standard lot (100k) for a buy and to sell it another $3.50. (I don't mind since I can write off comission on tax).

I noticed a couple of small gaps in their price feed which I didn't get on other brokers but it wasn't, in my opinion, a cause for concern. I've seen 3 of these in the last 2 weeks and they didn't effect my trading whatsoever.

My orders are always processed if not instantly in 2-5 seconds and I get the prices I asked for.

Would I recommend them? yes they're great as a broker (not that I take on any liability here)

I am demoing these guys at the moment. I want the razor account. Forget their fixed spread, it is too wide, but the razor ecn is one of the best I have ever seen. I will go live soon

Thanks.
