Just learning from the King. Remember in class when Mme mentioned "wait for the 4hr close above 1.3861". I put a red line on the chart and waited. Took it at 1.3877.
I have come to write all 'Big' numbers and put them on my chart and wait.

From a slow start to the day, it really ended with a bang. Will be interesting to see how tomorrow plays out with NFP.

so you entered long after the red candle closed above 1.3860? @ 1.3867? Or did you wait until this green 4hr candle broke the last red candle? Im confussed where you choose entry? But you are doing great no doubt. Once again congrats.

I was following it closely on the 15 min and was watching London open take it down expecting them to take it back up again ("buy low"). When it broke the days earlier high (1.3875 ) I got it with a stop below the days low at 1.3832. I did watch it immediately retrace a bit back below 1.3861 (1.3833 nearly got stopped out). A better entry would have been the break north of the counter trend but with the 1.3861 and the days high just above I decided to wait for it to break above the days high.

thanks but where was 4 hr close above 13860? We are just closing the green candle now above this pp or can we enter long on a red candle? Just wondering and making sure entry was correct. That is a weekly chart and we enter on 4 hr candle break and close . Right? Just trying to understand.

Hi Sniper.
On my MT4 chart three complete 4 hour candles ago (do not include the present one forming) it closed at 1.3866, just peaking above my 1.3861. This then was the start of my monitoring more closely on the 15min, but waiting for price to close on the 15 min candle above 1.3875 which was the high of that particular candle.

FXCM are the best in hunting SL, they have good program.
I see you got in sooner than I thought and set a SL. I was wondering if thats what happened and yes you did nearly get stopped out. Im gladyou didnt. I love to see everybody win PiPs. Thanks for explaining your trade as it helps everyone to learn and pick up things.Funny how the brokers go after our Stop Losses and Im glad you beat them that time.
