Does anyone trade 2 bar reversals / 2 bar shake outs? Does one still need to wait for a test or ND/NS after the 2 bar reversal or does another upbar in uptrend or downbar in uptrend suffice for entry?

Yesterday's POC level of 6253 has now held six times and since the Frankfurt Open these three trades have offered ~200 gross pips.....

As todays DR is only 76 pips vs the 10 ADR of 140, I'm holding part of this last buy open in case we get a further push up into the European close......TWT

Maybe its just me, but I think I'm seeing weakness in the 6EH1.

Edit: Bar A might better be called a hidden up thrust or an effort to move price down. Either way the only way to put prices down is to sell them.

GU daily high could be tough nut to crack since it is the highest high we've seen since Jan 2010... If it's pushes through it should be on high volume and I would then want to see a test or NS back in this area.

EUR/USD M5, not my favorite timeframe, but big moves need to see more in detail.

EUR/USD ranging between 1.3786 and 1.3854, very Balance area and critical.
Ben Bernake spoke and move it down by around 60pips.

Will price break today or just hanging on balance until this Fri NFP!

Hi guys,
i spot a NS bar on last m15 candle. current m15 candle is up.
will watch for volume, keep watch and
once candle breaks 1.3832 will attempt a safe long.

chart 1 M15 NS bar spotted

chart 2 M10 2 consecutive NS bars spotted.

feel free to comment and point out if i made any mistakes.
still new to VSA and always open for advice

Hi Willko,

I think the spread of the bars that you have highlighted are far too wide to be considered a No Supply. Generally speaking it should be a narrow spread/range.

In fact on the second chart, the first bar you've highlighted is an upthrust and this is a sign of weakness.

IMHO that 15min bar you have maked is way too wide of spread and closes too low to be a NS... no selling pressure perhaps. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

Whilst I totally agree that moving above todays new high for 2011 at 6327 will be tough, its actually just above the November 2010 high.

The 2010 high was on January 19th in a daily doji at 6450 as I posted elsewhere this morning

I did close when the PA made it obvious that a further spike up wasnt going to happen into Europe's close.

Now, after two 15m lower volume dojis around the highs, price has pulled back inside the value area shown on my chart and I'm heading for a SunDowner.....

Agreed but both in Jan and Oct 2010 when we hit (or came close) to this level we followed up with a 2000+ pip and 1000+ pip drop respectively. Just a touchy area IMHO.

Consider them the same as a SO or UT.
