Yeah, I'm wondering what's up with the USD - certainly not expecting much here, but it's been a straight sell for too long IMO. Some signs of life and possible absorbtion of sellers - this 82.3/4 area has some good bounce potential - just need to see some demand on the next rise up in the channel, which is what failed it last time. I'm not that keen on the correlations lately, because I'm seeing more fail, or, as they would say, redefinitions being underway. (ie., Asian moves away from USD to the euro, S&P 40/50 points down & USD continues to plummet) They should just officially allocate DX and UJ to the algos lol, 'cause that's what's driving these IMO.

2 hrs into London was 6AM my time... I was up getting ready for the 1hr drive to work... got to work around 8AM, posted the trades I was in for the day... when I looked at the charts at that time the last 2 hour bars were up bars (thought oh good we are headed back up)... then down and back up stuck below 6240 over the next 2 hrs and then crash... had lots of opportinities to get out but the obvious starring me in the face completely alluded me on this trade.

I don't really look at the 5min but was just flicking through it there seeing where I could have got in. This looks like a good setup for a sell. Volume, trigger number at close, ND touching the trigger number. Lowest volume of the day.

Yes thats was a perfect trade, Gavin marks the close of high volume bars like that and waits for testing. If you get into a habit of doing that you will be in for some very good entries in the future.

Yeah, i've been experimenting with it lately and I find it works better on lower time frames. That may just be me though? I presume it's valid at least up until the hourly. I was trying to get an entry today on the 20min charts I use but nothing really materialised. ND wise anyway.

Sorry for another Fib reference but man two days in a row we move up from the Daily Low to make the Daily High and then retrace down (profit taking or whatever) beautifully to the 61.8 fib... Almost like they planned it that way.

always look at back ground ... even better that you get to work 3 hours after london open .. that gives you even more background to work with for the london and us session

vsa is all about the left handside of the chart
