Looks like spreads have gone variable for this pair. I didn't see an announcement on their site or receive an email. Last week it was fixed at 100. I noticed late today it's hovering between 60 and 70.

They still looks great on fxintel.com. Anyone has a live experience with them, both on the execution and the funding/withdrawing side?

I am interested in this broker also. If anybody that has been trading with them live for awhile has any updates that would be appreciated.

I can share with you my demo experience.
I have monitored with a praticular tool their spread and I can tell you that you can be sure it is still thin even during big news releases!
Also very fast order execution and very good customer support

Does anyone have the Normal account if so what is the spread like on Eur/Usd.

Very quick support...but when I asked are there published swap rates anywhere they said that this info is not public!
I really don't like when there is something hidden from a broker

That's unbelievable.. "swap rates not public", what a dog & pony show this broker is.. Do not walk, run!

The info may not be published on the web, but is indeed public.
Just open a demo account and see the swap rates by dragging the attached script on a chart of every pair.
They are the same of real ecn accounts.

Actually, you can view the swap rates by right-clicking on the specific currency pair on the Market Watch window and selecting Symbols.

For E/U long, it's .02; for short, it's -3.964.

are their swap rates expressed in pips ?

my current broker for EURUSD =

Long = 0.01 pips
Short = -0.05 pips


AUDJPY :

my broker :
Long = 0.47 pips
Short = -1.55 pips

Finfx :
Long = 0.5209
Short = -7.209

FinFx is better suited for intraday traders, who need fast execution and tight spreads.
For longer term traders it is not that good, e.g. there are only about 20 pairs.

Hi guys,

I want to share my basically positive experience with FinFx.fi using a live account. My basic concern with them had been to test whether they were a true ECN or if I caught them playing against me and I must say that I feel confident my stops aren't going to be run etc.

Their costs including $7.00 commission round turn are quite low when coupled with the tight spread of about .8 pip on the average. Today I saw spreads of .2 pips at quiet times but that's not to be expected. They are, quite consistently around .7 to .8 pips, though. So, for a full lot round turn the cost is about $23.00 (16+7) and that beats IBFX 2.2 pips each way which amounts to $44.00, for instance.

The ECN is also reliable except for a scare we had last week when their servers were down, but I think this can happen to anybody. I read good things about Integral and I've been happy with their speed.

That's it from me. I read that many were lamenting the lack of a real money user and I thought I'd let you know.

Thanks for the feedback. One thing I'm not understanding is why you are doubling the spread? If the spread is .8 pips, and you open a trade and close it instantly. You will have a trade that is negative .8 pips plus whatever commission is if your broker charges commission. So if that trade was made with finfx then you would have a net loss of 1.5 pips.

I think you may be right about this. Thanks for pointing it out.

As per Oanda, they come close, but they have limitations in that they are a US broker. FinFx has the additional advantage of allowing hedging, for instance.
While I haven't used it, it might be important for EA's and other situations not to be limited by hedging rules.

For me main issue is the true ECN peace of mind. ;-)
