Which is this rule? Any other help about the EA?
I've updated now the metatrader platform, recompiled every ea with the right lot size. Restarted pc and platform but nothing happens. It still doesn't open any trade...
I'll try tomorrow with another broker to see if it will be the same...

I think that the EA's are written for the 4h chart and will work on them only but hey I only use the 4 hr chart so it does not matter to me....

When US brokers were offering 100:1 or even 200:1 Bob used to trade 10 cent lots with $1000 a/c balance. I can not recall what he uses now. However, If you go by the same formula now with Margin of 50:1 if you wish to follow Bob`s example you should have $2000 a/c balance trading 10 cent lots.
The account I use for Bob`s method is with non US brokers so I have not given it much thought.

Since I began trading this system, I have been trading 1-3 cents lots...Now my account balance increased by 50% and I increased my lots to 5 cents from yesterday. My margin level has been around 400%-600%.
I just noticed that I made much more trades, more pips, and have more DD than you and radio . I wonder if I have been over-traded
...Is margin level of 4-6 high or low with 50:1 account? Anyone have any idea?Thanks again

I trade in the US and at 50:1 and still try to use Bob's original risk. I adjusted the system I use to lower my DD by expanding the TMA out to fit price action on each pair. It has worked and therefore I get less trade triggers. since making this adjustment 2 weeks ago I have made 2.8% on my acct. 1.5% of that being this week. My weekly percentage gain has gone down the last 2 weeks and I attribute that to.... a new job and completely different hours that I trade, expanding the TMA and it seems as though the current market conditions have not pushed price to the extremes on too many pairs so less trades.
YTD I have made 15.82% on my acct and life is good. you must find the balance between too little trades and less pips and too many trades and too much DD.
For instance, I love to use EA#1 but if I have not entered a trade in a couple of day and price is "close" to an extreme I will move to a #4 and that most likely gets me into a DD situation than if I stayed with a #1. Sometimes my lack of trades leads me me to enter prematurely so I will not "miss" the move back to center.
The key is to understand this about myself and play to it and use the recovery system to get me out of these mistakes.
BTW this system is about making profits and not pips....in so many word. Last week or so I lost 109 pips and still made a 1.3% profit on my acct.

you can over trade the system and that leads to DD and a lot of it. your margin is rather high and if you are over trading then you could lose it all.

You said you use Bob's original risk. Did you mean you still trade at the same ratio as $0.1 lot with $1000 account?
I used the same size lot for each trade, so pips=profit to me
. You must have used very good money management which I need to learn from you
. How do you calculate the profit you made? Using equity or balance? I made 50% on balance and 40% on equity YTD. 95% of the DD is caused by the GBP/USD

I don't know how long it will take to come back..I will reduce my new trades and keep my account safe before the DD gets smaller...Radio, you talked about using TMA to determine the price extreme. Would you be so kind and put a picture showing me how to use it? Appreciate that! I am starting to read this thread from the very beginning, so that I can understand better. But I am so slow....

I use 0.3 every 10000 on a little and more risky account with leverage 400 but i take only primary trades and let them run untile white and blue stoch don't cross again if they are running so sometimes i makes more than 100 pips on these trades.
Every 50 pips of profit I lock a +15 profit or the 30% trying to calculate a 70% of retrace on every move (Fibo resistance at 66.8).
I don't make a reentry without another primary trade so sometimes the first positions go in loss of -400-500 without a good reentry.
I think that is better to arrive at -500 with the first position without reentry than arrive at -500 with 4 trades at a fixed size
On my bigger account i make the same with 0.1 every 10000. Always leverage 400. I trade all the 22 pairs but like astral said I don't go deep with a single account but trying to differentiate as much as possible.

According to what you, radio, and astral said, I think I am over traded...I did bad on recovery...Sometimes I reentered too early and too often. I need to pay attention to that from now on.
I started testing this system on my live account from the beginning of this year. I thought one month is enough. But now, it seems I need more time before I add more money to my account.
Money management is what I need to improve.Hope you will keep posting here so that I can learn from you guys.
