For those of you who are comfortable with a different exit strategy, the R:R can be almost second to none. BTW I do use s&r levels if they are 'in my way'.

This thread moves pretty fast, but I wanted to chime in on a subject that a couple members were talking about.

The Ideal 2 Bar Reversal.

1. The first bar will close on or near its high.
2. The second bar will NOT make a higher high but will make a lower low as its range is increasing.
3. The second bar will close HIGHER than the high of the first bar.
4. The second bar will close on or near its high.
5. The second bar will have MORE volume than the first bar.

This is the ideal or text book example. When first starting out, this should be the type of 2 Bar Reversal you are looking for. Once you progess in your VSA/chart reading abilities, you can loosen the definition to encompass more.

Sometimes, in VSA, it is bettter to first learn to paint by numbers before you start painting outside the lines.....

Ask him to get the time stamp too...

This way, ya can cross reference on a chart.

On closer inspection, it's not the best setup and I wouldnt take it.

I only trade about an hour or so before FO till about an hour and a half before LC.

same one hour chart I posted 2 weeks back with the s/r lines on it. 1.3610 area key ... maybe if we have decent range day we can get to that 1.3750 area

make a call long and targets when everyone calling you a muppet and telling you to get a real chart as they are selling then i will be impressed.

a 20 pip retracement off a key s/r area is supposed to impress me ? lol ... sorry it did not , plus I would be more concerned with my long if we did not get that dip in asia , pros typically use the low vol times to move price around to their suiting
