Craig Harris Stochastics Method

Two trades...

Euro trade above was a late entry. Look to the left of the entry on both ... almost at the high of the last swing... each trade made about $50 on 1 full lot. Entered both trades within minutes from each other. I normally don't trade this time of day... Asian session.

The last video by Dean on the TDI without the red line... I'm going to stack TDI's and check it out...

I think this is the vid your asking about. He just shows that once in a qualified trade you can focus more on the green/yellow lines for your exit if your on a smaller time frame chart.

Entered two sell trades today at market open on GC and UC both with 75 pip SL and 150 TP.

The EU trade was stopped out for -75 pips it's a real problem not being able to monitor the trade during the day.

A quick question about your charts/trades mentioned in meassage # 3521. Can you tell me which resistance level you are referring too, particularily on the EURUSD?

I watched these trade setups but did not take them.
I listed a reason for NOT entering each trade by the arrow 's on TDI.
Also the red was on wrong side of 50 on both trades.

Will you please explain an overriding factor for taking them if you would have entered the trades.

Additional +'s for entering were that both had divergence. The short was coming off yesterdays high, and the long was coming out of the Daily Pivot.

Did you hold off or take the GBPUSD trade? The 9.40 candle was an ideal place to get in, around the open at 1.6099 with green rising sharply, just breaking 50 line, and above yellow and red. Well done, if you took it!

Its been a tricky market this morning, with a lot of consolidation (easy to get chopped up) Maybe alot of it has to do with the pending employment data from the US.

Big E, how are you doing if you see a nice setup like this one, but time is between 11 - 13 H GMT? In this example, 2 h. before US open. Do you make some exeptions, or you trade strictly first 3h of the London session and 2h of US?

I asked the question to Big E, but also to everybody, who have some experience with this kind of situations!

Seems to me that the last several charts with questions whether to enter or not have the same thing in common and that is a hesitation to take a trade with obvious signals from the approach Big E has presented. The rules are very simple and straightforward. They have been reiterated many times over. Here is something that has helped me very much:

1. Print out the rules so you have a hard copy in front of you.
2. In the toolbar that has the zoom buttons, candlestick stye buttons, etc., engage the step-by-step button. To do this right click on that tool bar, go to customize, and insert step-by-step to the selected side.
3. Unselect the auto scroll from the same tool bar and drag the chart back in time however far you want.
4. Now you can step the chart forward 1 bar at a time. What do you see? What is price doing in relation to the 5 ema? At the same time what is happening on the TDI? What does slow stochastic look like?

One thing I tried was to place a vertical line at the beginning of a nice move - both up and down. Then using the above method I came back to that area with the red vertical line and looked at what was occurring with price in relation to 5 ema, to TDI and to stochastic. This simple exercise has allowed me to review many setups in a short period of time and to see what makes a "good" setup. Hope this helps.
