all that I am looking for is what goes in your mind when you enter a trade as all trades that you take have some differences with each other.

Wow... all these pages and charts with what I'm thinking about and what I'm looking for... Trade on a demo account, follow the rules until your experienced enough to tweak it to your style.

I'm not blowin' you off here... At this moment I don't know what else to add... I'll think about it...

See post 3477 to visualize whats going on in my mind when looking at the TDI considering an entry. I learned thru Dean and this is what I think about **** just realize hes talking about his Synergy method which is very conserative...

On this template the MA is Simple Shift 2 typical. If this is template you use I'm assuming those are settings you trade with?

I just chected my template and the yellow 5 method line says: 5 ema, Shift 3, Typical... which is what it should be. Sometimes I've used Shift 2 but there is so little difference.

Those are the settings I trade with...

I also want to say thanks for all your contributions to this thread. I have been following it for several months off and on. I think what you are doing here is great.

Hopefully someday soon I will become a consistent profitable trader and be able to help others as well.

Im setting up a forex tester 2 tpl so I can bang through a couple months of trading in a few days. Practice practice practice, its nice to be able to view multiple time frames while doing it also. The rsi 13 matches the tdi green line rather well. Which ma should I also attach to the indicator window to duplicate the red and yellow? Any ideas?

Your Question:

eelfranz are you also on 1h moving sl to break even after 10 pips in profit?

It's always a good idea to move your SL to B/E when your in 10-15 pips profit. I normally only use a S/L if I'm away from my computer otherwise I exit by my personal rule... 5 pips pullback.

I have a TDI indicator from the TS forum that has them programmed as... give that a try let me know what your tweaks find.

Green MyRSI = 13
Red TraderSignalLine = 7
Yellow Midzone = 34

This is the actual code

inputs: Price( Close ),
Length( 13 ),
Vol_bands( 34 );

variables: MyRSI(0), TraderSignalLine(0 ), MidZone(0), UpZone(0), DnZone(0) ;

MyRSI = Average(RSI( Price, Length ), 2 ) ;
TraderSignalLine = Average( MyRSI, 7 );
Midzone = Average( MyRSI, Vol_bands );
UpZone = MidZone + 1.6185 * StdDev( MyRSI, Vol_bands );
DnZone = MidZone - 1.6185 * StdDev( MyRSI, Vol_bands );

I put 2 trades on, went to band practice, & when I got home found out I had limited out for +20 on both of them. I tried to post a picture of my charts but couldn't get it to work. The technology is harder than trading.
My favorite crochet hook is size J. It's a J-Hook!

eel, have you used this trick of removing the red line to stay the trades......might slow things down after entry instead of having to run a macd.

Well done. Two trades at +20 each is very good, and it's good to see that you're happy with your efforts. Keep taking +20 bites out of the market and you'll do well....no need to be greedy and go for the home run!

CH method Only

So far T1 has been hit and stop has been moved to 10 pips+ B/E so net if T2 is not met will be 20pips+. If T2 is met then 40pips+, 10 on 1st, 30 on 2nd.

Execution was off a BN - 80 with SS agreement. The only thing that was not in favor of the trade was we were below the 20eMA. However the daily range for E/U is about 100pips and we were at 106 for the day which would also be a plus for the trade. In addition T2 sits just inside the 50% fib level.

T2 just hit as I write this I heard the wonderful words "Order Filled". Everything is pre-entered so I don't have manage it, much more sane for me.

So 1 trade for today $423.21 net.

Added the my MT4 settings. All templates and indicators are from this thread. Just hit the attachments button in the upper right, choose hide images and goto towm. enjoy!

So looks like BigE's template in this instance would have said stay with the trade and take more pips.... Big E can you walk me through what my thinking should have been? How do you use the Accelerator indicator on this template?
