Intel this is how I read it. Correct me please!

The previous two candels: the first makes a lower low with low volume, next candle has an increase of volume but does not make a lower low (and spread is reduced). That is why I considered that bar as a test.

It's a kind of test but, it's into new low ground for quite some time so what exactly is it testing? It has worked well for you this time but I would take care with this type of entry. Having said that, you're doing very well out of it!!!!

Also check out the H4, I'm not a big fan of 4 hour charts but this is showing something very interesting forming.

based on the daily chart and the potential of a shakeout of fridays lows, this 2hr pin which followed a wide spread down and a nice compressed bar near the lower tl of this downchan was good for me, even tough we are trending down.
i placed my stop b/e early on this one.

Indeed was watching that bar from friday to see if level would hold.

On a side note the R Hoffman powercharting indicators along the edges of the chart - is that giving a Tone Fire and Lock (if i understand the terminology) to make a buy just before the Euro plummeted? Do you use these R Hoffman powercharting indis much as you have obviously invested in the addon to TG - which are 'supposed' to consider background volume from the webinars i have attended. Cant say i was overly impressed given the price tag for these and is yet another 'Indi' to check which may generate conflict and hesitation to enter the trade.

OK, why did i choosed that bar from the day before is coos that bar is Ultra High Ultra Wide one!

We have that down bar that looks more appropriate by me but TG gave me a message that UP bar is UHigh and UWide one..so i marked that one

to be honest i took the trade just because i thought the test was deep into low, after the strong down move we've seen i thought it was a good sign.
Ok. I guess I have to go back to studying

If this trade is anything to go by, it's my that has to go back and learn. You are making good profit!!!!

With regards to a test, you would normally be testing something which has recently happened.

eg...... price has fallen to a point where it finds volume then rises a bit. SM would then need to test that area where they found volume, to make sure that there is no more interest there. Only then are they free to move price up without acting against themselves

As Price still inside this bar, that means it is still ranging.

Ah ok I don't have to reopen the book. I knew it wasn't a normal setup. i just asked myself, being at the lowest point of the day, why downbar volume was poor, why and increase of vol on a down move resulted in a compression of spread and why a deep lower low of a bar that ends at its high had the lowest volume in ages. But you're right. I'd better stick to classical setups

Just to go back to what I said a few pages back about not trading with 3 UT/SO in a row. These a poor examples but you get the idea. Will the forming bar make the 3rd UT style bar?

Here's my simple view.

as long as we don't close below 3380, EU remains bullish. 3423 was the support test nearly to the pip. Once we gain some upside momentum, 3680 seems like a reasonable target. Longer term, a close above 3800 is more significant.

if we take out 3380 on the downside, I'll start looking more seriously at 3100.

3500 is our interim challenge for intraday bullish continuation, but it's Monday, and a slow news day. I wouldn't worry how today ends, as long as support and the MPP hold.

btw: the only thing that concerns me about your method is I thought the hairy monkey was supposed to push the buttons to give you more time with the ladies, not the other way around.
