I feel as though I hit a resistance point and need to retrace for a bit. I believe I'm still in an uptrend and that I just need a little time to break through.

Oh gosh! I hope I don't consolidate

There seems to be plenty of opportunities in the market today. Still, I think I'm going to take the day off and go Valentine shopping for my wife and kids, also try and clear my head.

Hi Mme

Thanks for another insightful session. The GBP/USD has bounced up off a 4hr trendline. I am thinking of going long on a 1 hour close above 1.6106 (a quarterly resistance). It would also be above a 4hr down trendline and in the overall daily up trend direction.

What do you think.

Slight correction, 38.2% on the larger weekly swing is 1.6133 (2.0391 high/ 1.3503 correct me Mme if I am wrong). So my first target was 1.6133, took half off, set SL to break even and second target is 1.6174, 5 pips short of this weeks high

Ok...Taking all off. Is that a close above on the 1 hour or 4hr. Look back at what happened on the 4hour chart on Feb 7th and again on Feb 8th. Both closed above 1.6033 and then quickly reversed. Was that because back then the trend was down, and this is one of those 3rd time lets keep on going up and a bounce off a 4hr trendline.
