Hi mme. is there still any chance of aussie going more down or should I close the position which I opened at 202 half of them has been closed at 1.0140 and half I am traling by 100 is there any chance or retracement has been complete...................I mention on friday about aussie reversal well it has come down 160 pips since I mentioned at 1.0202

So please post if you have any Idea. I was looking for euro at 1.3750 to go short................61.8% it went bit further but went exactly to that position where I was looking

anyway if you any idea............then please post.............I am waiting for your reply

You said you are not trading Aussie two days ago, and you taking a few days off, suddenly you took a position at 1.0202, strange. Aussie DID NOT GO TO 1.0202 it went up 1.0199, EURO WENT AS HIGH AS 1.3743 NOT 1.3750
I AM NOT SURE WHAT TO SAY.

Let you know I'm back....been very busy with work and friends visiting. Now I can give my undivided attention to these numbers. On the EUR/USD I have a quarterly number at 1.3683, got in at 1.3679 and took it short to another quarterly number at 1.3636 (and watched my magic numbers on the way down). Yippppeeeee. My first live trade.

Looking forward to class next tuesday.

I was figuring the outer limit when I came up with 1.3786 before the short.

Many times, during entry, I wait for confirmation and then enter. But working within smaller levels, like the current EUR/USD, waiting for confirmation will lead to an entry that is very late (especially if you're using fibonacci levels in a smaller time frame).

So do you trade the wick extension here? setting the stop loss 15-20 and moving it to entry the first opportunity you have? Usually I wait until my entry is completely safe from getting wiped out before I move my stop loss.

When I'm watching a currency falling down and I see retracement in a 4hr candle? It can be difficult to tell if the 4hr candle is retracing, after it hit a support level or fib level, or if it has found support in a smaller time frame.

I think I may take a little time off of live trading to try and get my head wrapped around this entry in a smaller time frame (4hr). I just don't feel I'm seeing some things with entry as clear as other things in the larger time frame.

Mme, yeah, I can see those entries that you posted. I'm not quite sure where my confusion is coming from. I was looking for possible entries at the 38.2 area or the 23.6.

I think I may try verifying my entry points in the 6 hour, and execute those points in the 4hr. For some reason something is giving me excess noise in the 4hr. (I say this knowing the noise is in my interpretation, it is not something that the market is doing).
