I am confused about all the different Tunnel methods out there...Clarification please

When I read the 1 Hour Tunnel Method, Vegas says that going to higher and lower time frames don't work but then I am seeing the "4 Hour Tunnel Method" and the "Daily Tunnel Method". Can someone please carify when you would trade which time frames? Which method are most people using?

Also, I had some trouble installing the Vegas Daily Tunnel plug in in the MT4 software I finally got it to work but I don't have any idea when it says to overlap #2 & #4 for X currency pair. When I opened the file it automatically put it into a meta editor screen. I didn't see where there were different #'s that can be overlapped.

From a short-term trading aspect the 1 hour is optimal. You can move out to 4 hour bars [candles] without sacrificing much.

The key above is short-term.

If you have read my files, you know how I feel about scalping and day-trading. Most people can't do it successfully over the long-term.

Which method you choose is ultimately up to you. In my opinion, the vast majority of traders will be most successful with VWB. It's a path to long-term success. There are times when I use the 1 hour, but only when a specific currency pair gets highly volatile relative to its history. Otherwise I trade using VWB.

As regards metatrader and the plugins, when the plugin is chosen and the box appears, go to input section. If you click on the default number you can then put in a value from 1 to 4. Same thing in the colors section when choosing colors and style of lines for your ema's and fib lines.

To overlap model numbers is easy. I do this so I can get more fib lines on the chart for analysis. After you get a chart up with say model #2 on it, just start over by clicking the plugin again and when the box appears put in a different model #, for example 3 [this is what I have in gbp/usd]. Make sure your colors and styles are the same for those things that both model #'s share [like the ema's and the first 2 fib lines in this example] to avoid a mess on your chart. When you click OK twice you will then see the overlap on your chart.

Ok. The method you use the most is VWB. I also wondered about that.

Another thing I keep wondering about...how in the world do you manage all these pairs while waiting for a signal? Which pairs do you watch and in what time frame?

There are so many pairs and time frames that there has to be an organized way of watching for a signal...
